It’s a lovely state park not very good on any trails. There were a couple just a little over a mile. There was one spot if you take the river Road to Beaver point that was a cool spot that we found and then if you go to the Mississippi river to the Saint Francis river was pretty cool

Wonderful park with a great interpretation center (great for kids)!!! The workers were so kind and the place was clean and well-kept. We spent the day hiking around the trail. There are tons of places to picnic and the camping spaces look nice. This would be a great place to spend a day or a weekend in nice weather. The trail has lots of great tree interpretation; it was nice to be able to walk through and learn about the trees in the area. The trail is easy but there are some stairs but they are navigable.

The group camp area is great. Lots of level, well drained areas for tents and activities. No water source is the one down side, but we didn’t have any trouble.

Visited Sunday 9/29. We enoyed visiting with the park ranger who checked us into our Beech Point campsite. She went out way to make sure that we understood the full range of exhibits and activities that the park had to offer. She was the best!

So beautiful and serene. Highly recommend for a quiet get away. Easy to reserve, affordable and well maintained. Trails close by and being right on the water was perfect

Its a state park and a national forest. Kinda cool. Not sure if this is the case, but the state park seems to be divided into 2 parks. Both of which are on different small lakes. Seems like a lot to do here for just about every outdoor type. The Crowley's Ridge Parkway is an absolutely gorgeous drive from what little bit we drove. Lots of wildlife. Stopped at Crowley's Ridge Overlook and the Horn Fire Tower. Cant go up the tower, but still a neat stop for a quick picture. Will be back to drive the Parkway if nothing else.

Very dog friendly. Nice spacious wooded lots. Good WIFI. Very quiet and peaceful. Would have given it five ⭐ except for the low water pressure. Camped in a 28' travel trailer.
