Terrible Customer Service. Stay away from all this company has to offer to the buying public. Nearly impossible to cancel a simple magazine subscription. Hopefully, another company can prosper and put this one out of business soon.

Oh, if only there were negative stars. I have been a subscriber to The New Yorker since 1985 and my subscription is currently paid through the fall of 2027. In the past three months, I have called 'customer service' -- using the term liberally - at least a dozen perhaps 15 times, always with the same message. As someone who subscribes to both the digital -- daily newsletter, weekly newsletter, arts, books, food, politics, and more --and the print editions, why is there no longer anything in my email inbox from The New Yorker? Everything I once received has vanished. I have walked through, with 'customer service' these 11 steps then the next time these 15 steps then the next time these 19 steps...I guess you get the idea. And the issue has yet to be resolved...days, weeks, months later. Is this Conde Nast? It feels more like my high-school newspaper. I am paying for the digital issues of The New Yorker and I expect to receive the digital issues of The New Yorker. Wouldn't you?

Unwanted Magazines, Zero Customer Service—A Disrespectful Practice

I never signed up for Conde Nast Traveler, yet they’ve been sending unsolicited physical magazines to my home for months or nearly a year. I’ve tried multiple times to get off their mailing list—starting on their website, then via email, only to be passed between digital and print subscription teams with no resolution. I'm still receiving the magazines.

Conde Nast's customer service has been shockingly bad: non-responsive, disorganized, and seemingly uninterested in resolving a simple request. I’ve never paid for a subscription, and yet I’m now stuck dealing with physical junk mail that I don’t want and shouldn’t be receiving.

If you’re considering subscribing to any of their magazines, think twice—this is how they treat people who didn’t even sign up. Unethical and infuriating.

Their support system is so bad, I don't even have a reference number to put here.

I used to love, actually get twitchy excited to receive my issue of Vanity Fair. Regrettably Graydon Carter's relentless, petulant, ongoing rant against President Donald Trump, has forever ruined my love of the magazine. Now I'm just as twitchy for my subscription to end - never to be renewed again. I didn't buy a subscription to hear his bloated opinions, I bought the subscription to read great writers and see stunning photography. I miss Dominic Dunne, I miss unbiased articles. I won't miss the dated, shot from a football field away, photo of G Carter. Can't wait for the last issue to arrive in August.

For the museum in Montreal you advertised:

Extremely appalled, sickened, and saddened, this museum is still presenting a white-washed and inaccurate commentary of the colonization of America by white Europeans who cheated and ANNIHILATED entire Indigenous cultures. Forcing children into schools and beaten to forget their culture, and learn that of white people. And now we find their bodies in MASS GRAVES.

Outrageous. Absolutely disgusted.
