This shop is one of my new favorite places to visit and recommend to tourists! It's conveniently located downtown, and although the shop is small, it is full of amazing gifts, home goods, and even house plants! I like to stop by every few months, or peruse their website, to see if I need a new piece of pottery or locally made jewelry, and it's my first thought when I need to find a gift for someone. lichen truly is a gem in Fairbanks.

There are true works of art inside lichen. Each piece is unique, featuring local Alaskan themes!! There is something for everyone here from cards to candles to artwork to jewelry and more!!

Lichen is such a beautiful store and Fairbanks is so lucky to have them. You can really tell that every square inch of this store was curated and carefully thought out with the customer experience in mind. Anya and Macy have an eye for beauty and talent and fill their store with the BEST OF THE BEST when it comes to art and inventory.
