I visited Frontier Outfitters on May 31st looking for a pair of hiking shoes to wear on my Alaskan vacation. An employee named Robin helped me find a great pair of Keen boots, a brand that she wears herself, and they have worked out so well over the course of my trip. I can’t thank Robin enough for her excellent customer service!

Locally-owned business that sponsors and supports quite a few local organizations and non-profits. The prices aren't as low as some of the big-box stores, but I guess some of what you wind up paying for is service... which is typically good. A pretty decent selection of ammo, black powder, and reloading supplies. The gun department sells new guns (no used) at prices typically about $50 less than what the local gun shows will price them at.

This is your typical Alaskan small business. It's not a giant place that you can get lost in. They have quality merchandise at Fairbanks prices. Their service is good and fast. If they don't have something in stock they'll let you know where else you can look for it in town.

One-stop shop for all your outdoor and hunting needs. I could seriously spend hours browsing through this place.

Staff is always incredibly helpful, and their inventory isn’t overpriced.

I’ve purchased a few firearms from them, and they’re always competitive with online offerings.

Clothing selection is incredible and will have you decked out like a lifetime local in no time!
