Nice enough store offering classes and beautiful local crafts. However, I was very disappointed after I settled for a gift with an Alaskan theme for a friend who was visiting Alaska. Curious about the price I turned the gift upside down and also peeled the price sticker a bit and was shocked to see it was made in China just as were many other items which imitated Alaskan themes and automatically made me think that it was all genuine Alaskan craft... very disappointed. I am glad I did not buy the gift, I would have been mortified offering fake Alaskan craft to my visiting friend!

My glass mosaic didn’t fare well on the long trip home from Hawaii, so I headed right over from the airport to Expressions in Glass to see if it could be fixed. The owner stopped what she was doing and cut some perfect pieces of glass, glued them on and even gave me some grout to take home and use once the glue dries. They didn’t even charge me for the glass pieces or the time it took! They have had my business for years, and I will continue to shop at this lovely little place wonderful owners!

We took a couples 1 hour class and had so much fun. They provide all the know how, supplies, and help along the way. If you have inspiration for what you want to do, great, and if not, they have a bunch of ideas for you. Can't wait to see our pieces once they are fired.

A truly awesome experience! I will go back there again and tell my friends to go. They have something for everyone! And are so accommodating. The sales people were not pushy at all and the owner well she's just awesome! I had a very important job handed to me and was not finding anything at all anywhere in town. As soon as I walked into Expressions In Glass I had a great feeling! By the time I left there I knew that my job was going to be done with great pride and class. Of course while I was there I could not resist buying myself a few gifts ? the owner went above and beyond to help me and accommodate me and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate her ?

This is a wonderful store with a wide variety of quality gifts. They wrapped my gift beautifully for free. However, I felt that while I was shopping, an employee was following me every time I neared an entrance or exit to make sure I wasn't stealing. I understood that stealing has been a problem for this store by all the posted signs saying something along the lines of "smile, you're on camera". But I always intend to pay and do pay for the items in my hands. Instances like these are frustrating and uncomfortable.

By far the best part of our vacation. Having someone knowledgeable about the craft there to help us along the way was wonderful but what really made it special was how she was with my children. She helped them every step of the way and made their most ridiculous request a reality. It truly was a wonderful experience.

Every year I visit my daughter and grandson in Fairbanks and my trip wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t visit Expressions In Glass. The items in their store are so unique that you won’t find the things they carry anywhere else.
