Be careful if you apply here. My husband mom and I applied here a few months ago but we decided to renew our current lease at San Melia so we withdrew from the applications. They let us know that because we didn’t move forward with the application and because we made that decision 2 days after we submitted the application that they would not refund our money. These people kept over $300 in applications fees. Then today I get a letter from a collection agency saying that we owe Verano Townhomes $170 in move out fees. Like these people rip us off and keep over $300 and now they claim we owe them $170 when we never even lived here in the first place? So ridiculous.

We are just renting. The leasing specialist was extremely helpful. She walked us through getting all paperwork completed. The leasing agent was extremely helpful. The one thing I didn't like was pet screening. It took almost a month. They really need a new pet screening company. I submitted all my paperwork 5 times and had to go to the community twice before it got completed. Chay was my leasing specialist she deserves extra kudos for a job well done. Thank you Ally for helping with the pet review.
All done now.

I was originally happy living here but now it’s just a nightmare honestly.

Over the course of the last several months, management here has made things very difficult. They have awful communication, charge you fees with no explanation or appropriate documentation, are slow to respond to messages if they do at all, and are generally uncooperative. The actual manager Emily is seemingly never available. The assistant manager, Alexis, is rude, unprofessional, and entirely unpleasant to deal with. Leasing agent Tedrick is also very rude and condescending and will talk over you. Their idea of customer service is truly appalling.

For a “luxury” community that charges upwards of $2200 a month you think you’d get better management, common areas not constantly full of animal feces, security gates that actually work, we’ve had water pouring from our ceiling and filling a bucket and maintenance said it was not an emergency, we have to deal on a nightly basis with excessively loud neighbors that are constantly partying…and no matter how many times you report it to security and they send a report to management, it will never be dealt with. We recently had someone try to break into our unit and management hasn’t even bothered to acknowledge that report. We have had things stolen from our front door. Our child was assaulted by another tenant…The gates to the back pool never work. And on and on.

They have caused our family so much stress and harm. It has literally made me ill. I would recommend honestly renting just about anywhere else and save yourself the inevitable migraine of dealing with the runaround from their office staff and the unpleasant living conditions.

Don’t rent here.

Came in as a walk in with my husband and daughter. Lashare was AMAZING, TOP TIER and VERY MUCH PERSONABLE all in one. She was very knowledgeable of her community and you can tell she is passionate about her property and her job.

This community is absolutely beautiful. The ground keeping is top notch, I walk around often for exercise and I took pics to post on my social media at how beautiful it is. The staff is courteous, knows your name and genuinely happy to see you all the time. The maintenance staff is friendly and sweet Omg love them so much! They always are respectful of my home and don’t mind wearing the little booties on their feet if I just mopped. Lol. I just love living here and I’m always happy to wave when I see staff out on the community. You should love living here if you choose too. I wanted to extend my lease for 18 months Lol instead of the 13. It’s truly a wonderful community.
