Writing a review because honestly, I am at work and craving the Old Benson Ice Cream shop. My family loves to stop off here after hiking or exploring the area, it's a must go whenever we come by(we are from Tucson) We have been here several times and each time the staff is incredibly friendly, the manager is a sweetheart and the ice cream choices are nearly endless and delicious. A must stop by if you are in the area!

A nostalgic ice cream stop. The servers are very sweet and friendly.
They have pretty much every flavor you can dream up.
I recommend the Apricot cheesecake w/ cheesecake chunks.

Drove from Tucson. To get ice cream. It was Worth the drive and the prices are very reasonable. Been the Three times now. No long wait time. You can get eggnog ice cream there. My son gets it when we go there. Friendly business people.

We drove by and saw this place on our way to Tombstone. I said we have to stop on the way back. So glad we did! Wow, the menu is huge, so many choices! I wanted the Pumpkin Pie Glacier that was advertised on the windows. The clerk was so friendly and explained what was all in the treat. So yummy!

By far best ice cream place ever!!! Wish they had one in Vail/Tucson area

Hardest part was deciding what we all wanted
The 6 of us all had different items and all were amazingly delicious!!

Recommend you don’t eat before you go to save room for more Ice cream ?. And try EVERYTHING!

We stopped on a whim as we were traveling through the area on vacation. I hadn't googled or read reviews or anything beforehand. This was worth the stop and worth returning to the area as well to get more. A family-run ice cream store that tries to source its ingredients as fresh as possible. Service was quick and extremely friendly, helpful, and patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted. Ice cream was delicious and some of the best I've had....definitely best soft serve I've had. We will stop again for sure if we are ever close by again!
