Never visited, only called and talked to Jake. We chatted about 3-5 times about transmission repairs for my car: the pro and cons, the prices, used and new part options, and the reasoning behind each option. If he didn’t know the answer he got back to me. He called around to used part stores to see if he could find me a better deal and talked to subaru to see what a new transmission would cost. This was all without stepping foot in the store. AMAZING customer service and patience! I felt so well taken care of, and they were so honest. Would recommend them to anyone with transmission issues in a heartbeat, and while I hope we don’t have anymore issues in the future, I would go to them for my business.

DO NOT bring your vehicles to this business. There are plenty of mechanic shops in Tucson that will do the work with a smile on their face as opposed to being belittling to the customer for asking simple questions. The good folks here will waste as much of your time as possible due to a supposed constantly flow of customers. However, when you go to pick up your vehicle you will find all the employees standing around talking, drinks in hand. Save yourself the trouble. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

My Ford focus was having transmission issues, shuttering when going from 1st to 2nd gear. I took it to Amco on the recommendation of my fiancé. Aamco fixed my incorrectly mounted transmission for free and in one day (a way better deal than what the Ford dealership offered). I would highly recommend Aamco for any transmission issue. They are fair and fast. I really appreciated their work and my car drives so much better now.

AAMCO on Ina has bailed me out twice now, for which I am exceedingly thankful. Both times I was told by other shops that I needed a new transmission for my 18 year old Subaru. AAMCO told me my transmission was fine and my brakes were fine.
