Sarah is patient, knowledgeable, and a great teacher--even over Zoom! I own several carriers purchased elsewhere that I rarely used because I just didn't feel comfortable. Paying for a babywearing consult at Acorn Treasures was well worth the money as it helped me learn to use what I already had safely and confidently...I wish I had learned this when my older kiddos were babies!

I can't describe how helpful, knowledgeable, and just how nice and kind hearted Sarah has been to work with. I have been speaking to her the past few weeks about coming in for a lesson on how to wear my daughter in my Boba wrap, because I didn't feel secure enough on my own. I had to reschedule a couple of times, then the third time I had to reschedule because my daughter was in the hospital with RSV. Sarah offered to come to the hospital and give me a lesson. She was great, and wanted to help me because she knew it would help my daughter's levels. Now I feel comfortable wearing my daughter, and look forward to doing it for a while. I can't thank her enough! This is such a neat place to have in Huntsville, and we need more people like Sarah in the world!

Acorn Treasures is an amazing locally owned baby wearing and cloth diapering store. I went in looking for a baby carrier for my preemie newborn and Sarah, the owner, made several recommendations and then showed me how to put several on and how they worked. She also showed me some tricks and tips on how to make each one more comfortable for me and baby. Sarah is usually in the store and has a wealth of knowledge about her inventory; from baby and toddler carriers to high quality toys and teething beads to all shapes and kinds of cloth diapers she can point you in the right direction. She also works with several local Work At Home Moms (WAHMs) to stock unique, handmade items. I would recommend Acorn Treasures to anyone who is interested in learning more about baby wearing and/or cloth diapering.

The one stop shop for all things natural parenting! I recommend Acorn Treasures to all my pregnant friends as soon as they find out they're pregnant. Sarah has something useful for everyone who comes in and a truly amazing arsenal of resources and information. If nothing else, just stop in to chat, you won't be disappointed!

If you have a baby wearing question, Sarah (the owner) is the person to go to in Huntsville! She is well versed in baby wearing knowledge and provides high quality consultations through video conference during Covid times. Sarah spends the time to understand what your goals are with baby wearing and then helps guide you to which system may work best for you and your baby. In addition, her store is filled with an assortment of quality toys and items for your baby. Sarah and her store is such an asset to the Huntsville community.

Sara is awesome! I originally went in for some cloth diaper inserts and she helped me so much, she took the time to tell me about the different options I had for what I needed and what she thought would work best. When I went in the store I also realized they had tons of baby carriers. I had already purchased a carrier before my son was born but never was taught how to efficiently use it. She recommend I schedule a consultation for 1:1 time, I came back 1 week later and she filled me with a wealth of knowledge!! She taught me how to use my carrier I already had and how to use it a different way (that actually felt better!). She also taught me how to use a wrap and they have a library for these!! I checked out one and now I am able to come home and practice and use for 30 days. So glad I found this store. Highly recommend!! 🙂

I had such a wonderful experience at Acorn Treasures. I went in looking for a ring sling and Sarah (the owner) went above and beyond to help me. Her knowledge and recommendations helped me so much more than I expected. She truly listened to me and helped me according to what she felt was best for ME, rather than just trying to sell me things and get me out the door. You can tell she truly cares & is super involved in our local community. In this fast paced & money driven world, genuine & patient people are hard to come by.
