I try to shop local. I’m stop by active soles for shoes many times and they don’t have my size in stock. Today I went for shoes and again they didn’t have my size in stock but they were getting a shipment. I was hopeful so I asked how many pairs of those shoes they would be getting in and one pair and that there was small store, the store didn’t have any either. If you’re gonna be a shoe store, you should have more than one pair of shoes in that size at least two would be nice. There is nothing that guarantees that I would be the person getting the one pair that you’re getting in whatever day your shipment comes in.

Really disappointing that there are not more options for smaller sizes. There were only 3 pairs of shoes in women's 5 and all three were the same brand. I prefer to support small businesses but when they don't offer my size it makes it pretty difficult. I'll stick to Amazon and shopping online, at least they allow returns.

Rude sales boy. Very immature. Never will shop there again.The employee who was helping me became angry when I did not buy shoes. He slammed one shoe into the shoebox next to me and then walked over to the display to return the other shoe and then aggressively threw the cardboard shoe insert towards me aiming for the box next to me he indicated. He missed he said. I wouldn’t advise shopping there unless you definitely plan to buy something otherwise you may be attacked.

Knowledgeable friendly staff! Even the customers knew a great deal. If you want running/ hiking/ trekking footwear, this is the place. Pay a little more for greater quality. Yet not locked into box store choices. I'll be back with the wife very soon!!

The folks working here are friendly, personable and attentive. Yesterday I dropped in and said "I'm on a quest, I hate my trail shoes." Caelyn listened to what I was looking for. She brought out multiple choices and ultimately it was one she suggested that was the best fit. This is my third similar encounter there, all with different staff. Being plus-size, stores that feature active wear can be intimidating or dismissive. I have never had that experience with them. They listen, and I love each pair of shoes I've gotten from them -- they've done me well on both asphalt and trail. Yes, the price point is going to be higher than Target, but what you can't find they can order and their expertise is super valuable. Thank you AKtive Soles.

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. They listened to the things I was looking for in a shoe and then helped fit me for inserts to help with extra support for my arches. I'm excited to see how well these help correct the alignment of my knees.
