Joy Brooks is an amazing woman! Any chance I get to support her store, I’m taking it! I went in the other day, hands full with my baby, and she helped me pick out the perfect gift for my mother in law! She even wrapped it beautifully and offered to help me out to my car, thoughtful is an understatement! Anchor is THE place in Randolph County if you’re looking to shop, gift, or browse!

I can't say enough about this specialty gift shop and the sweet owner Joy. She has the most unique gifts and is always changing things for each season. She has great ideas for last minute gifts and the finishing touches make the person on the receiving end feel more special. Go visit and see what true southern hospitality is all about.

This is more than a store. If you do need a gift it’s such a beautiful and welcoming space. Joy, the owner, is exceptional at helping you figure out what to give someone in any price range. But she will also take time to get to know you and either welcome you to the town or begin a new friendship while sharing her heart and her story. You must stop in Anchor on Main while passing through Wedowee!

We use Joy for many of our gift needs. From a pair of earrings as a "just because" gift to gift baskets for Christmas, birthdays, etc., we can find everything we need at Anchor on Main for our business. Joy is the perfect name for this beautiful lady, as she radiates joy and love whenever you walk into her shop. She is quick to assist and to give a smile and encouraging word. We are so thankful for her amazing little shop and her much bigger presence in our town!

Absolutely precious store! Ms. Joy is absolutely wonderful. She even took the time to hand wrap each of my ornaments in bubble wrap so they would not break. This is a unique little store in Wedowee, AL with a great selection of gifts and feel good finds. It’s a must visit.
