Ample parking. Exploring the stunning beauty of Anchor Point, where the skies and shores are graced by the majestic Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles, offering breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences close up.
People really need to stop walking their dogs leash free and allow it to chase around bald eagles and seagulls.

Beautiful beach (from Florida, so different is exciting!) Extremely clean. First beach in my life, I didn't see any trash, litter, or any other human-made crap on the beach.

The views were breathtaking and pristine.

It also has an extremely important marsh ecosystem where many of the baby species of important game fish thrive. It is very beautiful to see on an almost undisturbed natural system in harmony.

Stunning views! A black sand volcanic beach, and ample parking! Loved my very short visit here. If I'm ever up in the Kenai Peninsula, I'll be back to this beach!

We took us 2 hours walked to the end of the beach and back. We saw sea birds, seals and eagles hunting the sea birds. Nice!

Beautiful beach and river, shallow draft boat launch at mid-high tide. Terns, Eagles, Bears occasionally, Moose and of course Seagulls upon Seagulls, hahaha!

Very windy, but worth the short detour on the way to/from Homer. Saw a few bald eagles here... they tend to 'hover' due to the high winds which makes picture taking much easier. This is also the furthest west you can drive in North America (not the most western point in North America, but the furthest drivable point).
