Very cool. The column shows a history of this area in the time of Lewis and Clark. Also very nice views. They sell toy gliders that you can fly off the hillside. 5 dollars to park.

A cute little souvenir shop just by the Astoria Column landmark for all your shopping needs! It's not as busy if you visit in the early morning on weekends - that was the time I visited. Plus, I noticed items costing way cheaper here than downtown Astoria; the postcards sell as low as 0.45 and the 3D wooden ship puzzles here, compared to most craft shops for instance. It's right by the beautiful overlook of the southern Astoria area, too!

I recommend stopping by this store if you plan to visit the Astoria Column. It's hard to miss.

Great views almost 360 degrees. Gift shop was small and so to the Covid-19 virus they limited the amount of people inside. The Column was also closed due to the virus. I would like to visit again abs give this place a second chance.
