So established in 2017 and the movie was in 2001.. do I even need to say more?

The food is bland and not very appealing either.
Tried the pork and brisket dried bland overcooked.
friend brought me some to try he had the bolt sandwich?
was not expecting this fancy plated food at all was expecting it to have that original typical backyard or tailgate style BBQ to it.

None of that. I wouldn't drive the distance for food that doesn't
even look like any passion was put into it.

If I wanted something like this but with actual care and passion and love put into it. I would have just bought a ticket and flew over to philadelphia and head straight towards and into dalessandro's steaks. But I don't cause I can actually make better food than what these guys push out. And no I will not even throw that out as a challenge.

But if this is what passes for food for those
who have no taste buds be my guess and have a good day

This place has changed my life in so many different ways. I'm not just saying this because I work here. I genuinely mean this, the men that come in here whether getting help or are regulars are always fun to meet and get to know. I can't express how delicious both the coffee and food are here. Come in for the food but most importantly come for the experience.

If you are looking for "wasilla's secret gem", thi is it. Big J's barbecue offers an unmatched menu, and the feel/setting offered by BOB is both unique and very Alaskan. Overall, Band or Brothers is the best restaurant in Wasilla.
