It was my first time in there some I explained I wanted a replacement bike similar to what this kid was riding in this picture and John was right on it he showed me to bikes answering all my questions finishing up with a bike lock not to mention taking down the serial number and explaining to me the purpose behind doing and what steps to take if the bike got stolen the bike was a gift so they were able to give my a gift receipt as well I would definitely do business with them again ☺️

John was very helpful, went in to get my wife’s tubes replaced on her bike, he was very informative and they had a nice used bike that he put together. Perfect fit for me and ended up buying that too couldn’t be happier! Had all the add ins I could want and I can now ride bikes with my wife. Great deal bikes are hard to find, fast friendly service with a smile!

I went here to get some new tires put on my wheelchair and while they don't stock my size, they can special order it if I need them to do so. The tires they mounted for me are solid air free tires, with a reputation for being difficult to the point that companies sell a special "tool" for the process. I was in and out in ten minutes, told they're just as easy to mount as a normal tire, and they were even nice enough to let me sit in the shop chair while I waited! Will definitely be back!

Very helpful and friendly family owned business! The guys helped me purchase and outfit my bike. We travel all over the country and when I voiced concern about maintaining my bike they encouraged me to call them and they would talk me through any issues. Super folks with excellent customer service!

Terrible customer service. I would not recommend this store. I walked in to get help with checking 2 flat tires. I was the only one in the store. Shortly after, another customer brought in a 3 wheeled stroller with a flat. The employee stopped helping me, went and took the tire off and replaced the tube. While she was paying, and I was still standing there waiting, the phone rang. He finished with the customer that had come in after me, then without a word he assisted the customer on the phone. While he was assisting the customer on the phone, another customer walked in. When he finished his phone call, I stated I still needed help. He said just a minute and asked the next customer who stated she was here to pick up her bike. It had a flat tire so he started changing her tire. I then informed him I didn’t appreciate the way I was treated and walked out. No excuse for this treatment
UPDATE: took my bike to a shop in Portland. As it turned out, I needed a new tube, which they replaced on the spot.

Went local because I wanted a bicycle pump. There was another customer there, and the guy at the counter wouldn’t even recognize my existence. After waiting a while decided to just leave.

Spent Saturday afternoon having 3 bikes checked out by John. He provided excellent customer service and is a wonderful example why shopping local is a GREAT thing!!! Highly recommend Barlow Bikes!!!

Visiting from Colorado and California to take in the Saint Helens Fall Countryside. Shirley, her husband, and John their employee, made us feel welcome and took care of our biking needs. I recommend coming here when you visit Saint Helens, to enjoy the scenery up close.
