Over the past three weeks, visiting this store has been an enjoyable experience. I've finally found a place where I've uncovered a hobby and had a great time playing a game that excites me. However, things took a troubling turn recently. Last week, I was unjustly accused of cheating at the Pokémon TCG tournaments. Mind you, there were also free tournaments because no product was awarded to the winning competitors. When I asked what specific actions led to this accusation, I was informed that other players went to the manager claiming that if I weren't banned, they would no longer return to the shop.

I was then told I was caught on camera allegedly grabbing cards from my discard pile and exhibiting sleight of hand. When I offered to have my deck checked for fairness, they outright refused. This whole experience is incredibly disheartening. It’s frustrating to see accusations based solely on what others say, rather than any real evidence.

I do have cards in my deck that allow me to draw from both my discard pile and my deck, which is a legitimate strategy. In all honesty, I feel like I've been wronged in this situation. The environment in the shop is overly selective about who is welcomed, especially toward newcomers compared to long-time players.

That said, I acknowledge the positive aspects—the service is good, the selection of games is impressive, and prices are reasonable. However, be cautious if you immerse yourself in a hobby here; you might find yourself unfairly targeted and banned as well.

**Review of Basin Gaming in Klamath Falls, OR**

Visiting Basin Gaming is like stepping into a parallel universe where gaming dreams come true and wallets go to die. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a wave of nostalgia and the subtle scent of plastic packaging and Mountain Dew. The shelves are packed tighter than a Mario Kart race on Rainbow Road, with games from every era jostling for your attention.

The staff? Oh, they're the real-life NPCs you never knew you needed. Helpful, knowledgeable, and somehow always right there when you can't find that one obscure game you remember from your childhood. They're like gaming wizards, minus the pointy hats (although, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they had some in the back).

But let's talk ambiance. The decor screams "Gamer's Paradise" with posters of every iconic character you can think of—Link, Master Chief, even that one Tetris block you swear is always out to get you. It's like walking into a museum, but way cooler and with less judging if you touch the exhibits.

And then there's the community events. If you've never been schooled by a 12-year-old in Super Smash Bros. while a crowd of strangers cheers you on, you haven't truly lived. It's all in good fun, though—because where else can you bond with total strangers over mutual digital destruction?

In summary, Basin Gaming is not just a store; it's a haven for gamers of all kinds. Whether you're hunting for the latest release or just want to reminisce with some old classics, this place has got you covered. Just remember to bring your sense of adventure and a sturdy bag for all your new loot. And maybe a tissue—you might shed a tear of joy.

Went in needing a ps3 controller because I had smashed mine. Nowhere in town had one but the owner was kind enough to look through some stuff he had and come up with a tested and working one for me at a better price than anywhere online I had looked. Staff is also knowledgeable, and kind which can be hard to find now. Really really wanted to say thank you to them by posting this review as I greatly appreciated the help! Will HANDS DOWN shop here again when I need something for my PS2 or PS3.
