Absolutely adorable book store in the sweet little beachside town of Seaside. You open the door of the old restored building and are transported to another time. Take a deep breath to smell the books and listen to sound of your footsteps tap on the beautiful hardwood floor. They have a little something for everyone. They of course carry books, but also coloring books, cards, calenders, and some pretty cool gift ideas. I purchased some of the cheeky kitchen towels as well as other items dripping with comedy and soaked in shenanigans and malarkey. I appreciated the liberated and free spirited atmosphere. The building is gorgeous and has a cozy little seating area up in the loft. I could literally sit in there all day if I could. The staff was friendly and helpful with locating specific items. It is great bookstore to check out on a rainy day. It is also a great opportunity to support a local shop when you are visiting Seaside. Beach Books is a true treasure.

This will always be the place my daughter rolled her eyes at me because I told her I wanted to read Twilight together. Thank you for having the book in stock! About 40 eye rolls later and she's now enjoying the book ❤️

Great book store. They have a wonderful selection of books for all ages. A must stop when I come to visit Seaside. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. They have fun bookish merch as well. I love the personalized notes with recommendations on them.

The store itself is cute, but the worker was awfully rude. Girl with the very long hair and glasses was quite condescending when I asked a simple question about a book… made me feel dumb. Super disappointing considering last summer I came in and was treated nicely by the elderly woman.

i love ordering books from this bookstore ! the books are always packed up so nicely so they’re not damaged during shipping, they include a free bookmark, and a handwritten note, which is such a sweet thought. i was also gifted an arc copy of a new book that was on my wishlist and was so happy when i opened the package. thank you guys so much !! can’t wait to place my next order.

This is my favorite bookstore of all time. The staff writes handwritten reviews and puts them on books as recommendations. I went in, not knowing what I wanted to read and just asked the staff, “What is the best book you’ve read all year?” I went home with two books, and started reading. They were perfect. The staff is amazing, friendly and informative, and the selection of books is excellent.

Bears, Beets, BEACH BOOKS. This Seaside book apothecary feels like you're meeting up with an old friend. You haven't seen them in ages, you're a little nervous, and then they smile, you hug, and three hours go by in a flash. From the perfectly curated display tables to their selection of tomes to seasoned review tags, Beach Books has what you want to read.

The staff are always extremely knowledgeable. You can rattle off titles or authors, or vague "this one book about this one thing" and they know within a snap what you're referring to, where it is on their shelves, and other books you might like in the same vein. Beach Books is the bookstore you want in your hometown, but only perfectly exists in the magic of Seaside with the sound of crashing waves off the coast.
