Took my $400 selkie dress in for cleaning and to replace the zipper

got the dress back and not only did they use white thread on a purple dress (i had to use eyeshadow to match the dress color on the thread), making it obvious, but they cut where the lining meets at the top and didn't fix it, so it's falling apart

the dress also doesn't even fit anymore because they took it in at the zipper and didn't even see the zipper in properly

my Venus Ritz dress is now unwearable the day of my event and I'm devastated because I can't just up and spend $400+ tax and shipping to replace it

they also quoted us wrong and only quoted the zipper fix, so the bill went from $17 up to $50

I'm now scrambling to find a dress and am already 14 minutes late to my event.

I take all of my stuff here to get tailored. I am 5’7 and somewhat stocky/athletic build, so it is hard for me to find clothes that fit nicely. Since finding this place I buy clothes whenever I see them and in whatever size because I can take them here and have them work wonders. I had an extra large puff coat that I had them downsize to a medium and it looked like it hadn’t been touched! They are truly the best! I have taken jeans, pea coats, Jean jackets, button up shirts, you name it. I have not once gotten something back that I did not love. When I say love, I mean LOVE. When they are done with my clothes I feel confident and good looking. The staff here are super nice and always get things done in a timely manner as well. I have no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this place. The card is in Spanish but don’t let that scare you away. They speak English as well and will take care of your needs. Again, I highly recommend this place.

I ordered a pair of pants online and it came in the mail like wolverine sliced it up or something. Garcia’s shop stitched it up to perfection right in front of me (less than 5 mins) for a great price. Guess where I’m going again if wolverine slices more of my pants? Yup, Garcia’s tailor shop!

Great staff. Great communication. Great work. I was given a leather motorcycle jacket that was a XXL. I am a L. This kind of jacket is not easy to work with as the leather is thick and there are multiple layers inside for armor. Their work was great and the two seams they had to add were done in the same style as existing seams. I’ll be back!

Asking to work with a price is not enough reason to give a customer attitude by telling them to walk out if they don’t want to pay. I’m not new to your business.
