British Emporium is a charming little store that I love visiting when I'm in the area. It's clean, tidy, and very organized. They offer a great variety of crumpets and tea, along with tea sets, English perfume, sodas, and candy. The lady at the counter, with her lovely English accent, is super nice. Love stocking up on British sweets here, and trying new things. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. The store is very small, but you’ll find a wide variety of items. The prices are a bit high, as you might expect. But where else are you going to find some of this stuff?

I love going to this store. The owner is lovely and she sells all of my favorite English teas, and a large variety of foods and sweets. The store is in a very nice area and is surrounded by many other nice stores. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon.

This is truly the greatest little store. The owner, June, was so kind to my high school daughter who was preparing to host a booth representing England at a school event. June was actually gracious enough to give my daughter several props for her booth and took the time to share with us some helpful information about England. My daughter and I went to our car after our visit with our faith in humanity renewed. The generosity of this store owner who didn’t know us at all but yet welcomed and embraced us really made an impact on us both. If you want to capture a little taste of Britain and support an amazing local business, my daughter and I highly recommend a visit to the British Emporium in Riverside. June, we are most appreciative and hope to see you again!

My go to when I get a craving for food from back home. They have a reasonable selection of British goodies. The pies and maet products are made in the USA (says so on the label, so there is no intent to deceive) as importing meat and meat products into the US from Europe is banned. The owner is friendly and helpful.

Very very disappointed & feel completely ripped off. Spent about $100 on not a lot of food but to be expected When I got everything home I was horrified to find many of the items ( sausage rolls pasties ) were actually made in the USA & cleverly & manipulatively labelled with British flags. Yes maybe I could have read the small print BUT in a store such as this you wouldn’t feel it necessary. Plenty of the other things were fine & properly English but the deceit of the bakery goods left a bad taste in my mouth & for that reason couldn’t recommend or return.

Just found this little gem of a store, great products a little expensive, but that’s to be expected. Just to piggyback on the person that is complaining that things are made in the US in the meat section, if you knew better, he would know that you can’t import certain meets from the UK, but these products are still delicious and probably made by people

I'm so happy to have found this place near me. For so long, I've had to drive to Torrance or Fullerton to shop for any British items. This shop is the cutest little place ever! It has pretty much everything you want. The only thing they didn't have that we wanted were crisps. Besides that, there's gift/souvenior items, teas, cups/mugs, teapots, perfumes, lotions, food, sweets and more! As soon as we walked in, my daughter and I were welcomed by the sweetest and most friendliest lady, June (the owner). She was so much fun to talk to and we will definitely be coming back again.
