I spent about a week in Idyllwild, and I’m so glad Bubba’s Books was one of my first stops. Though the shop is small, filled with books, sports jerseys, and unique Idyllwild souvenirs, it’s the owner who truly makes this place unforgettable. He has an incredible wealth of knowledge about both Idyllwild and sports, and he’s more than happy to share if you're up for a chat. His warm, friendly demeanor really captures the essence of Idyllwild, reminding me to slow down and take in the beautiful surroundings. He even shared some fascinating stories about the legendary Idyllwild Beast, which inspired me to pick up a few postcards to remember my time here. I highly recommend stopping by Bubba’s Books, not just to browse, but to support a fantastic small business and have a memorable experience!

I stopped in to get a book today and left with much more! Steve the owner of the store is so awesome. He has lots of cool stuff including some fun post cards. He was a gem to talk to.. Definitely stop in and have a chat, it made my entire day

Do yourself a favor and buy everything and anything from Steve: books, sports jerseys, vinyl, firewood, postcards. You’ll get a great deal from the nicest guy on the hill, let alone the planet. Definitely the kind of store and person that deserves your time and support.

Great place to find hardback and paperback books at unbelievably low prices. Hardbacks are $3 and paperbacks are $1. All books in excellent condition. Owner is very amiable. Also, of you return a hardback after reading it, you get a $1 refund.
