I had bought some yarn 🧶 from her. I told the owner I wanted to crochet a tank top. She gave me some advice wonderful advise. To make up my own pattern and to crochet a top that fits my body type and I did! I cut out my face because I didn’t want people to see who I am. It’s all about the tank top I design! I want to leave her a 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review alone with a finished ✅ picture of my work that she encouraged me to start! I did it! Thank you 😊 for inspiring to having me make up my own crochet pattern! Owner is really nice 👍🏻 should stop by and check out the yarn 🧶 she has! Thank you again! (Happy summer). 🙌☺️

a WONDERFUL fiber/craft store!!! feels like howl's room from howl's moving castle :3 <3 miki, the shop owner is so knowledgeable about different fiber crafts, we had, at lengths, conversations about crochet. the yarn selection is out of this world -- nothing like anything you'll find at michaels/joanns/hobby lobby (no shade). BEAUTIFUL hand dyed skeins of mohair + more (and very very reasonably priced, the large ball in the picture was literally under $25!!!). would highly recommend to any fiber artists/crafty folks to come and check out :)

The coolest little yarn store tucked away in Huntington Beach! Owned by a really sweet lady and as you can see, the interior is like a magical yarn store!! There are so many cool yarns of various colors, textures, and more. Will be back for sure. Support your local yarn store!!

They have SO much yarn! I loved looking through everything and the conversation I had with the shop owner. The customer service was amazing and they had a cute little dog named Georgie. Overall great experience. I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve heard about this place for years but finally had a chance to stop in. I was greeted by the owner Miki and eventually George (her loving dog) introduced himself to me. The store itself is chock full of treasures—yarn, macrame cord, bobbles, buttons, looms—anything you could possibly need to knit or crochet. A lot of the yarn is vintage, which is amazing because the prices are just as vintage. Today I walked away with two skeins of mohair to make a beret, both skeins were priced under $6. Mohair today can cost upwards to $15 on some sites, maybe more? I’d been curious to try working with mohair and Miki gave me some great advice about different types of mohair, weight, and hook sizes. She also encouraged me to to try something new and different, and to not be afraid to customize my work so that it fits me. Patterns are just suggestions! I plan to return and bring a friend or two. Support your local yarn shop. Miki’s been in this spot for over 50 years!

Really cool yarn thrift store. Mickey has been collecting yarn for 53 years and has a huge assortment. Of note is a large collection of mercerized cotton and big cones of wool good for knitting an affordable sweater. The owner is incredibly sweet and I really enjoyed talking to her 😊

Excellent variety of yarn. This is not your usual big name store yarn selection. Instead it's a treasure trove of unusual and hard to find yarn. I wish i had discovered this shop sooner. Prices are reasonable, too. Pleasant and helpful staff. Stop here first for your yarn needs before going to big name craft stores.
