⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Car Buying Experience at CarMax!

This is BEYOND overdue, but I wanted to take a moment to appreciate how great of an experience purchasing a vehicle from CarMax. My partner and I can’t say enough great things about the incredible team that helped me—Eli, Nick Taylor, Jake Ryan, and Savannah. Each one of them went above and beyond considering the chaos of that day.

We had an appointment for 2 but we weren't able to be seen until 4 because of the all the walk-ins. I am assuming tariffs had a play in mind for that, but nevermind that. As we were waiting, I was getting a migraine from hell and the manager could see my struggle. Not my best in that moment for sure, but the team was compassionate, helpful, patient, and kind to us during the busy chaos.

The manager spoke to us around for apologizing for the chaos he had no control over, but also gave me some aspirin to address my migraine! He then looked at our preliminary offer and the vehicle we had ordered and made some recommendations to my partner and I. He also listened to the feedback we had about what type of vehicle we were looking for and showed us some options we didnt quite see online.

We ended up finding a 2025 Chevy Trax with 11k in our price range with really nice amenitites! While it wasn't exactly what we were looking for, it was too good of a deal for us to not accept. There were several more fantastic options but we decided that this was best for us. As we were finishing up the final paperwork process, it was closing time and the staff was finishing the final polishes on the vehicle. They stayed with us even after hours to ensure we got the vehicle we wanted.

So, if you're looking for a compassionate, transparent, and friendly car buying experience, I highly recommend this CarMax location. The staff here truly care about their customers and made me feel confident every step of the way. My partner and I are thrilled with our new car and so grateful to Eli, Nick, Jake, and Savannah for making this moment feel nothing short of a blessing! Thank you!

I would highly recommend buying a car from CarMax. I've never purchased a car on my own and this was my first experience. I had great help from the CarMax in Salem, Oregon with Heidi and Jake.
"**More importantly I had the most AMAZING follow-up with NICK TAYLOR*** My car needed a few little glitches fixed. When I called, I was so fortunate enough to have Nick assist me. He was amazing! I was worried and thought I had made a bad decision. The first thing Nick said to me was "I am here for you and I am on your side". It made me want to cry. I know that might sound silly to some, but this was a big purchase for me and my first time doing it.
on my own. I felt maybe I had made a mistake. Nick assured me that he would do everything he could to make sure I felt good about my purchase, have anything that needed to be addressed fixed and stay with me the entire process. He fulfilled all his promises and more!!! I wasn't just a person to him that purchased a car and then CarMax was done with me. It was just the opposite! I cannot thank him enough and because of him, I would highly recommend going CarMax to everyone.
Also thank you to CarMax for having such a phenomenal employee in your company and great customer policies. I'm sure we will both agree that Nick Taylor is an amazing asset to CarMax
I know one day I will have to purchase another car and Nick and CarMax will be the way I go. I can't think him enough for not just his amazing customer service, but his kindness and reassurance. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

When my car was totaled in an accident, I needed to look for another car quickly. A family member recommended CarMax and helped me look at available cars online. She had used CarMax twice to sell cars and to buy cars. I knew I wanted a used car and I found the perfect car. The Customer Specialist I worked with at the Salem Oregon location was great and I loved it that prices were set on each car. There was no dickering back and forth. The price was fair. I am already singing the praises of CarMax to anyone who asks my opinion of my experience.

I love my car! Jake was very helpful and friendly.
I took the car to my mechanic for a general inspection after purchasing. Everything checked out, except a small, fixable oil leak. Brought it back to carmax, again they were very nice about it, and it was covered under the warranty. They sent me to another mechanic (who said the same exact thing that my mechanic did) and it was fixed by the end of the week.
Overall a pretty good experience.

I had a wonderful experience at carmax! They’re amazing. I am looking forward to this new journey with my new Honda civic. I was nervous at first before coming in and a bit lost. Thanks to Matt, Itzel, and Savanah I had no worries. They made me feel comfortable, secure and confident. I was well informed about everything that was needed to know about my car and carmax. I was very happy with my experience. I was able to do the majority of what I needed to do online before I even got to the store. Once I arrived I was greeted right away and was able take a test drive without a salesperson accompanying me. CarMax answered all my questions and everyone was friendly and helpful. I appreciate not having to haggle over a price and I am especially thankful there is no high pressure pitch to buy "extras". Janelle Bowlin was knowledgeable and professional. What impressed me most wasn't just Matthew's service, but the consistently positive atmosphere across the entire facility. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making the experience positive.

The final touch that demonstrated their commitment to customer service? They arranged transportation home for me after completing the sale.
