We had an unfortunate and unpleasant experience shopping here today. My mother and I were shopping and walked into this boutique for the first time. The owner saw us enter, but did not greet us. We didn't initially think anything of it. As we continued shopping, she walks behind us pretending to do adjust a purse or blouse and then walks away. She did this on multiple occasions. Here's the kicker. She kept saying "bye, have a nice day." We looked around each time and didn't see anyone else in the store so we assumed we heard wrong.

The last time she said it, I replied "Ma'am we are still shopping, do you mean to say bye to us?" To which she looked at me and said "have a nice day" in a sarcastic tone while waving. We were in utter shock. So I replied "I guess we are leaving now. Thank you for your hospitality" and walked out of the store in complete shock while she smiled and waved.

I can't say why this woman discriminated against us, as it could have been for any reason. But it was clear she did not want us purchasing from her. We live locally and are so sad that people like this serve our community. Kindness is important.
