One of THE best flea markets in central Florida, hands down. Not only is there a beautiful selection of unique items, the presentation of these different shops and sellers is so amazing. Most of the shops are β€œinside” to a degree so you won’t have to be walking in the Florida heat if you go during the summer. And every seller I spoke with was cordial and willing to bargain over prices. Even down to snacks, all of the snack vendors have very reasonable prices so you never feel like your $80 cash from the ATM is wasted on a water and some chips. They also have an ATM at the entrance ($3 transaction fee) so you can be prepared. Awesome selection, great people, very unique items. The perfect flea market!

I have visited numerous times and always find what I am looking for. All the vendors are so sweet and helpful. I love that I can bring my dog with me. Some of the best homemade goods can be found here. My favorites are the honey, jams, and fresh produce. Also the fishing equipment store has some of the sweetest staff you will ever meet and they are super helpful in helping to set up the rods for fishing.

Small but nice flea market. Inside (more permanent spots) and outside (smaller sellers) vendors. Full time vegetables for sale the rest seems to be mainly on Friday and Saturday. A nice way to look for that special item. If you get hungry there are many selections for good, hot and cold food.
Try the fresh pork rinds, stop at the oriental food restaurant, or bring home fresh bakery, honey or vegetables.
A good place with friendly people.

One of the better flea markets around. Wayyy better than Waldo. Also there's lots of local antique and thrift stores right down the road from it. We like to make a day out of it and hit them all up. πŸ™‚

The people were mostly nice, and would return a greeting if given one. The guys running the fishing tackle shop were great. However, the patchouli and incense and sage burning needs to be managed. Whole isles that we wanted to check out just got axed on this visit because the stench was intolerable. All in all it was decent for a quick stop.

Lots of stuff! No puzzles though, which I was wanting. Lots of DVD. Not many plants. Plenty of crystals dishes, and corningware. Leather, wood, cloths, fish and pets.

It's an open air flea market. It's clean and maintained. Because it's an open air market populated by older folks, smoking is pretty regular throughout. Otherwise, anything that you would think of a farmers' flea market is what this is.
I went there specifically to visit Fun With Fudge because they started selling sugar free fudge. I used to absolutely love fudge. Unfortunately, I'm diabetic now and have to be careful of what I can have. Fun With Fudge is a very nice looking cafe style stall that sells fudge and what they call whorzles (blended drink make from the fudge). The lady working the shop was very nice and down to earth. She gave a nice quick intro to her shop and how it works. When I asked about what sweetener is used, she wasn't sure but we looked on the packaging and found that it's sucralose, which is safe for me.
Overall, most people in the stalls were nice and welcoming. Although, the area isn't known for being to welcoming to outsiders or people that they don't recognize. You'll get a lot of "if you don't like it, go to Gainesville" attitude. That's not really the Flea Market's doing though. That's more of the overall feel of the entire town. There were a lot of stalls that caught my eye to come back to later. I'll come back, but keep it more of a business mindset.
