Buyer Beware! I purchased Ford Expedition Max from Chiefland Ford in February 2024 that was “Gold Certified.” I have had nothing but problems with it from day one including: major transmission issues, rear window not functioning, side-step not retracting, trunk door doesn't close properly, 2 months of owning it and rear tire blew out and revealed a wheel had been welded together and many other things. After having the vehicle reviewed by an independent dealership, I was told this vehicle should have never been “Gold Certified” and it appears someone was trying to cover up the fact that it was in an accident. I have reached out to the Dealership and Owner directly but they are uninterested in helping resolve any issues and I’m left with a broken vehicle and no answers. I expected much more from a Ford dealership, especially when buying a Gold Certified vehicle. Do yourself a favor and avoid Chiefland Ford — you’ll be dealing with constant problems and poor service.

Went to look at a car we found online, when we got there both of them weren’t available due to them being in the shop (typical ford lol), so me and my girlfriend looked around just to see the crazy prices on the new plastic on wheels. When we got back to my car the salesman came to us and told us that first time buyers can’t finance a preowned vehicle and we would have to start with a brand new suv. Seems like he just needed to meet a quota. During our whole interaction he didn’t seem too knowledgeable on cars even. Between the lack of honesty on the listing they posted and the salesmanship I’d recommend steering clear of this place.
