Ocean view is awesome and right next to beach access. The rooms are nice and we're clean but the rest if the property could use some up keep. Hot tub was out of service but the pool was nice. If this place was fixed up it would be 5 stars. Don't ask to check in early they stick to 4:00 check in but you can park there and enjoy the beach while waiting till check in time.

Last time I was here was about 6 years ago. It looks like new owners have taken over and tried don't a quick remodel in rooms? But the Bar, Hot Tub, and Restaurant were all closed. :/ The rooms decor was all side ways on the walls and it just had my OCD going wild. It also seems the grounds are not kept up as they did prior. It used to be one of my favorite spots. Staff was nice so there's that!

The best thing about this place was the location. The gal who checked us in on the first evening was not inviting or helpful much at all. When we got to our room at first glance it was pretty nice. But then we realized that the back door to the shared patio was unlocked upon our arrival, and it really made me very uneasy. The bed reminds me of one of those 90s blue mattresses with hot air balloons all over it. It was exceptionally uncomfortable. None of the plug ins near the vanity were working. The curtains had a large brown stain. We checked out a whole day early. Just overall completely unimpressed. I should have known though based on the price, you get what you pay for.

We enjoyed the view & being able to visit family while staying here. We enjoyed the pool, but the spa was out of order. The sauna was nice but smells kinda funky like it needs deep sterilization from moisture damage over a long time. (Essential oils can also help freshen the air while steaming & relaxing)
The rooms need a bit of repairs to the walls, plumbing, ceiling & floors around the bathrooms, sinks & windows. Staff is exceptional with customer services, very friendly & helpful with all kinds of info.

Wonderful view, nice rooms. They lied to us about amenities apparently to get the booking. No the restaurant is not open, no the hot tub is not working. The worst of all is the staff apparently don't talk to each other. We went to the beach phone fell out of pocket somewhere and it was found. Person brought it to the hotel office and they said no such person was staying their. We get home and find out through the so. That the person called him and is mailing the phone to us. So our phone could have been returned the same day. But because apparently someone did not want to look the person was turned away. Horrible

Amazing location and views! Our 2nd floor room was clean and comfortable. It has been well used but everything (heat, fireplace, fans, lights, faucets, etc.. worked! Don’t be scared off by the few negative reviews. Staff answered our few questions and were always available. Yes, the restaurant is closed. There are so many options within a 10 minute drive that it was no big deal. Well worth the cost.

Onawa, front desk specialist, was amazing. I had an issue where the system defaulted to the current day, I was looking for a month later, and she helped me fix it without having to fight for it. I have stayed here several times and just rebooked my room for May.

Apparently this location is scheduled for demolition and a rebuild. I really wish I would've known that before staying here. The place is in such a state of disrepair, they really should not be hosting guests.

Pros:
* Amazing ocean front view
* Jacuzzi tub worked

Cons:
* Took over 12 hours for the heater to increase the room temperature by 10 degrees
* Broken fireplace
* Fireplace runs on old, loud tick-tock timer
* Clogged toilet (multiple times). Nothing like plunging your own toilet on vacation.
* Slow sink drain
* No shower shelf for soap & shampoo
* No towel racks in bathroom
* Shower curtain lets a lot of water out onto bathroom floor
* TV wires are an unsightly mess
* Phone doesn't work at all. No dial tone
* No drawers for clothing
* Very minimal counter tops
