Stepped into Cosmo Thrift on an East Bay thrift outing from the city and it was such a nice experience. The gentleman was kind and helpful.

Prices are the lowest I've found of any thrift store in the area. You have to dig around but I found some really great stuff! They have a lot of items.

They seem to have tag discounts everyday. Definitely worth a stop. I'll be going to Cosmo thrift a lot more often!

I saw some bad reviews from some stupid and entitled people on here. It's a small business, respect it.
No the place doesn't smell, and if you really care that much about a tax write off, come prepared next time.

This place is cool and interesting. There are a lot of interesting and cool items for people interested In all sorts of things. Worth a visit if you're looking for something niche, useful or interesting. Will be going back soon!

I went there looking for a 65" tv stand. I found a set of two small stands for $5 they are very cute. A little bit damaged but nothing that cant be fixed. Before picking them, the owner was very attentive and even saved my contact information just in case he found what i was looking for. He even stayed a little longer after cloaing to help me fit the stands in my car.

I recently make a big donation most of the items in new or excellent conditions to this business cosmo thrift they happily receive all the items and they promised to give me a tax deduction receipt but then after they refused to write any receipt

It is a wonderful store. The owner and employees are always smiling and very friendly. The prices are worth going there and good discounts. It is worth appreciating and going there every day of the week.

Wow. I am appalled by the experience I just had at Cosmo thrift. I went at 6pm this evening with my boyfriend to find a blazer for my grandfathers funeral and as soon as we get to the aisle with the coats, a woman who works there, in a pink sweater came to our aisle and starts rummaging through clothes right next to us. She didn’t ask if we needed help, she just stared at us as she “went through the clothes,” not even 4 feet away from us. She then proceeded to go to the aisle directly behind us, for a better view, I’m presuming. Mind you, we are looking for a business coat and minding our business. We finally found what we needed and headed to the cashier to check out.. and of course, she just so happened to be done snooping as well so she followed us back.
After we checked out, I went to go look at the dresses quickly, and guess who was making her way over.. the worker in the pink sweater.

This was TERRIBLE customer service and to presume your customers are going to steal is honestly disgusting!! I’ve shopped here in the past and have always had a pleasant experience, I am so upset about what happened tonight, I can’t say that I will ever go here again, because this one woman put a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel unwelcome. And word of advise. If your going to stalk your customers, at least make yourself useful and ask if they need assistance finding something.

I went to Cosmo thrift and was very excited to see all the great changes they had made. The store is being a really cool thrift store. I don't know what they are doing different but it just has a really cool vibe. The lady that's the manager I always see her working so hard to keep the customers happy and the owner is really nice too. I look forward to shopping there again.
