I am an Elite Titanium member and have in my Marriot profile that I prefer a room on a higher floor. When I checked in they informed me I had an "upgrade" to standard a room on the bottom floor where there were people outside my window at fire pits talking all night. Not sure what their idea of an upgrade is but it certainly was a downgrade. The desk clerk said the hotel was at 100% occupancy and the parking lot was empty.
Truly disappointed and they also want to do a money grab for 15 dollar parking when the rooms are already overpriced. There are other options in the area including a Hilton Garden Inn down the street that does not gouge the guest. Not worth it and a marginal property at best.

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at the beautiful Courtyard by Marriott in Goleta. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly courteous and attentive, making our stay truly exceptional. A special thanks to Drew, the manager, and Elliot, who both went the extra mile to ensure we received the best possible service. The rooms were not only clean but beautifully appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and looking forward to returning soon!

I had an excellent stay at the Courtyard Marriott Santa Barbara Goleta, thanks mostly to the amazing staff. The location is convenient and easy to access, with $15/day parking. The fire pits were fantastic and made for a cozy evening, and water was offered upon check-in and check-out, which was a nice touch.

Rey, in particular, went above and beyond to make our stay special. He helped us celebrate a co-worker’s birthday, let us hang out longer, and was so kind during an emotional moment in the lobby, even providing tissues. His perceptive yet unobtrusive nature was genuinely heartwarming, and his ability to communicate in Spanish was also impressive.

The room was clean and well cared for, with a nice couch, extra blankets available in the drawer, and all the necessities you’d expect from a hotel: in-room coffee and tea, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, makeup remover, fresh towels, and an ice bucket. Everything was thoughtfully stocked and ready.

The location is ideal for easy access to UCSB, nearby stores, and restaurants. I stayed on the 2nd floor and didn’t hear any neighbors or inside hotel noise during my stay, but there were some external noises to note: occasional airplane noise due to the proximity to the airport runway and the sounds of teams playing at the ball field next door when I had the window open.

The pool and hot tub were closed for repairs during my visit, but the hotel offered an alternative at another property (though I didn’t use it).

Overall, a great stay with thoughtful staff who made a lasting impression and a room that was comfortable and well-equipped.

This hotel was just okay. If you're looking to relax, don't come here! It's extremely loud! I asked to be moved from first floor to second, and I could still hear people walking around in their rooms! It was horrible! The walls are paper thin! I got no sleep at all. 🤨

That said, the food at the restaurant was really good. It was overpriced, though. Customer service was also pretty good. But I wouldn't stay here again. I'm one who likes to relax and sleep on vacation, and this place just doesn't offer that. Too noisy!!!

Courtyard tried to bill me for unincurred costs. They have two water bottles with $6 price tags in the room which I did not open or drink. They tried to charge me $44 for a bottle of water and a restaurant charge to my room which I did not incur. I left $20 on the tv stand for housekeeping and they still tried to ding me for their precious water bottle that was unopened when I vacated the room. I hate having to pore through my bill and find these dings that must be disputed. They removed the charges after talking with the manager. I am a regular business traveler to SB/ Goleta and it's too bad that I feel I must try another hotel next time. I want to stay in a room that has no hidden fees, where I can trust that my bill will be for the actual costs of my actions. I should not have to call the manager and argue about charges for things I did not do.

Spent two nights here for a work trip. Rooms are nice and the outdoor area is so pretty. I wish I could’ve spent more time here. Would definitely return. Friendly staff and the on-site coffee shop was super helpful.

The walls here are paper thin & housekeeping does not care that there are people trying to sleep. Rooms are nice, so if you're not a light sleeper you'll enjoy this place.

A luxury hotel on the outside with activities in the hotel like mini golf. Really nice lobby and a location close to restaraunts and a decent walk away from the Pacific Ocean. Good service. We checked out pretty early due to a 6am flight, and it was no problem getting a receipt sent by email when we called over the phone, which I have had problems at other hotels with.
