I absolutely love my 1960s dresser from Danish Modern Design. They did the refinishing work to restore it before I brought it home and it looks & feels brand new. It’s hard to find these unique & vintage furniture pieces, and it’s really convenient to have them restored to perfection all in one place. I will absolutely purchase furniture from them again!

Purchased a high and lowboy dresser and we couldn’t be happier with the quality and aesthetic. Michael has a good eye for beautiful furniture and is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is an excellent communicator and very helpful in providing options that fit the description of what we were looking for. No high pressure sales and very easy to talk to. Professional delivery and the refinished dresser set blew us away! Danish Modern Design is a gem in this valley. We have been to every local furniture store and nothing even comes close. If you are looking for gorgeous pieces to showcase in your home, definitely check them out!

Rarely do you find this skill level in refinishing teak furniture. My 15 year old Scan Design 9 ft table (with leaves) had begun to show its wear and tear over several moves and grandchildren. Today it was delivered and it looks like it just left the show room of Scan Design. I highly recommend them. The quality of workmanship is bar none!

So pleased with this beautiful bed frame from Danish Modern Design! Michael did a fantastic job of refinishing the piece. Delivery to my home 4 hours away included assembly. Michael is very responsive, and we look forward to working with him over the coming year to refurbish several of our existing pieces of MCM furniture.

Found several special pieces here, nice variety of danish teak. We were able to get some special requests in. For example, on our cabinet he added legs so it stood up off the ground. It took a little longer to get, but I really appreciate those kind of options

When it was time to sell my primary residence Michael contributed a collection of mid-century furniture to stage our recently re-modeled mid century home when we listed it for sale in March of 2025. So happy to discover Danish Modern Design in Ashland. Mike Connors has a superior collection of fine vintage Danish furnishings. His trained eye and attention to detail means beautiful refinishing that restores the glow and warmth of the original teak. Four years ago we moved to Ashland and Mike helped us start our MCM exploration with a teak desk, chairs and small table. Just recently Mike found the extension dining table we’d been dreaming of. Perfect!
