This location is so great I just had to buy a second dress since two bridal dresses are better than one! I want to thank my stylist (Dare) and the whole staff for making me feel welcome, and have a memorable experience as always! They always go above and beyond to make sure “you find the one!” If you’re a new bride or even getting married again, they’ll make it feel like it’s the first time! Definitely would recommend anyone looking for great dresses and customer service, this is the best place to go! Thank you again for the memorable experience I’ll never forget! ?

I went to David’s Bridal for a last-minute gown, and Shanelle was incredible! She somehow read my mind and helped me find the perfect dress in just 30 minutes. As a curvy woman, I know this process isn’t always easy or quick, but Shanelle made it fun, seamless, and stress-free. Rosario was so pleasant from the moment we walked in until we checked out. She had several dresses for me to try on based off of my profile at my arrival. One of the dresses that were laid out was THE ONE! Her personalty and positivity made it fun and friendly. The only thing was that there was no one available to get an alterations quote. If i would have known there wasn't going to be someone available i would have scheduled my dress appointment at another time because they are not close to my home.

My mom had a good experience, but I didn’t. I came to this David’s Bridal on 12/1 for my first wedding dress appointment and my consultant was Marina. My experience was not good to say the least, and the 3 people I had with me that day would agree. On the other hand, my mom had a very good experience finding a party dress after my appointment finished and was helped by a different woman (didn’t get her name, but she was tall and had short hair at the time) who was super awesome, accommodating, helpful, and friendly.

When I walked in I was greeted by some people at the front desk and I felt very welcome, but when I started my appointment with Marina her attitude felt very lackluster, almost bored. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses so I was very anxious and she was giving the vibe she did not want to be at work or help me. I felt like I was inconveniencing her by asking her questions or asking for her opinion and it made my anxiety way worse. At this point I was just trying to pick out dresses to end my appointment. I wasn’t able to be fully present and really think about what I wanted or enjoy myself.

Yes, technically she did her job (carried the dresses, hung them up in my section, clipped the dresses in the back while I wore them, put a veil on my head, told me about payment plans), but the apathetic way she did the bare minimum made me feel no longer excited about shopping around for a dress. There were times she wasn’t helping my mom fix the trains on the dresses I tried on and my mom had to ask her for help as she stood there and watched her struggle. She also refused to pull a dress for me that had a very long train because she didn’t want to deal with it if I didn’t buy it. I agreed because like I said, I already felt like my mere presence was inconveniencing her. I wasn’t expecting it to be like the tv shows, but I was expecting her to be a little more enthusiastic about her job. She was like this from the very start to the very end of my appointment and I was nothing but nice to her, so I’m not sure why it went the way it did. I even thanked her for helping me before I left, to be polite. I tried to chalk it up to maybe she was having a bad day personally, but after my appointment right before I left I saw her laughing and smiling with her coworkers, so it made me feel like she just didn’t want to help me that day.

I would go back to David’s Bridal (maybe this location and definitely others), but now I feel like I need to call before I go in and specifically ask for a consultant that’s going to be helpful and friendly. This experience almost completely ruined wedding dress shopping for me. I went to the Scottsdale location yesterday (12/15) to try on more dresses and I had an AMAZING experience there. Completely blew my appointment at the Avondale location out of the water. I’m glad I didn’t let one employee who needs to be retrained deter me from trying other locations.

Great experience at my bridesmaid dress appointment! I was helped by Elizabeth and Kenia, they were so kind and supportive! They went through different dress options with me until I found the dress I wanted in the color I needed, and they made sure I would receive it well before my event date. 10/10 would def recommend! ☺️

Kenia was my consultant.
I called on a Monday morning for a same day appointment, and was seen right away.
She helped me pick my beautiful dress. Kenia was very patient with me and even had to go a little over our time limit.
We were all very pleased with her.

Andrew (Andy) was absolutely amazing. She was very helpful after being told something differently from a different David Bridal’s location. Andy made it right and myself and the bride is very pleased with how she handled our situation. Thank you so much Andy. It is very clear why you’re a store manager. Great customer service, great crisis management, great communication. Thank you again. Also thank you to the staff who picked out two amazing dresses I got To choose from to go with theme of the wedding party! You guys are great!

Carlos and the manager Andi were amazing! After almost 5 appointments, I found the ONE (after finding it on two previous times, I know! I am not an easy one ?). Carlos & Andi were patient, kind and very helpful to me. ? After many dresses and opinions I found the one. Again, Carlos and Andi were great in paying attention to detail, listening to my goals, and gave their best every time I went. Mil Gracias Carlos ? Your time and dedication is extremely valuable.
