My first time shopping here and I will be back!! Amy was very helpful and got my dressing room ready with items I selected. She was extremely friendly and professional. The store had a home town feel I love!

I just left this store for the second time in the last few months and noticed that although I wasn’t completely ignored, they definitely don’t provide the same kind of service to all their customers (and there were only two of us in the store). The other customer was told about some sale items and I overheard her mention a BOGO offer (that wasn’t offered to me). It was whispered to her so maybe it was a special just for her? Anyway, that is the last time I even go in there. It’s a shame as the clothes are cute and I was about to try on a few things.

I have shopped primarily at the Patton Creek location since they have opened. I love their Kut jeans however, I will never give them my hard earn money again.. if you want great service, sweet girls and similar styles. Go to Pink Tulip, South and The Pant Store. They have great customer service and their return policies are reasonable .If the tags have been removed from an item even if they haven’t been worn DP wont even offer an exchange or a credit. My complaint is the same as the review I read before mine plus the girl in charge at the Summit was extremely condescending and rude. . My advice, spin your money somewhere else where there are better prices, great customer service and reasonable return policies. .
Responding to the owner saying I have shopped one time in 2024.. But what about all the other years? Brought in a friend one time who spent quite a bit of money. I read your other replies and was shocked on how you gas light your customers after a bad review. Its shameful. Usually owners are apologetic and try to make it right but not dear prudence. Like I said, shop other boutiques, they don’t have condescending and rude employees like the one I experienced at the summit. You were not there, and you did not see how she treated me. Amy knows me well at the Galleria location.
If the tags are not on and the item is not damaged or worn you should swap it out for a store credit or exchange within 7 days. You don’t have the same policy as other boutiques have..at least they treat their customers with respect and give a little. They have never been condescending and rude..Not once. She acts like that because the owner sets the tone…
Amy is an exception. I don’t have a problem with her. She has always treated me kindly. She knows me by name because I have been a loyal customer in the past. This year hasn’t been too kind to me so I haven’t shopped much. Amy just has to enforce your horrible return policies.
I have not once criticized an employee, complained about prices or had a complaint in general until today. However, I do remember you being much higher on a pair of jeans then a similar boutique and your store wouldn’t even match their price.
So an outright lie and you obviously have me confused with another customer. I’m not sure where you got your information. You didn’t even get my name right… ..

Honestly love this store, but their return policy is ridiculous. Was gifted jeans for Christmas. I have the receipt and tag on them, but unfortunately they are too long and don’t fit. They will not even give me store credit because I missed their strict return policy of 14 days by 2 days. I was with family over Christmas and have not had time to return. Again love the store, but this return policy makes me not want to come back. I really hope that they rethink their return policy. I never write bad reviews anywhere, but this policy really has me upset. I hope that they will change their return policy to 30 days like most stores.

My character was questioned today and I'm having difficulty letting it go. I've spent thousands of $ over the years shopping locally with Dear Prudence. Today I returned a dress still wrapped up with the tags. Yes, the tag was cut but I never wore the dress. I even tried to show the owner pictures from the weekend that I never wore the dress. She wasn't having it. She is the owner and the buck stops with her. I get it, but to be so hateful and ruthless and show no grace whatsoever was actually very gross. I'm an educator so I understand the need for rules. I understand there are some very dishonest people out there, but I'm not one of them, and if I treated parents the way she treated me, I'd be out of a job. I LOVE shopping locally but can't say enough about how horrible my experience was today, so unfortunately, I will not be going back. It's not even about the money it's about morals (I DID NOT wear the dress), it's about customer service, it's about treating people the way you'd like to be treated. Be very, very careful when dealing with this store and particularly the owner. She is not kind. I do believe in karma.

I’ve bought gifts here for my girlfriend several times now and the workers have been very helpful. No matter who it was, they were always kind and not too pushy. Some days I knew exactly what I was looking for, but when I wasn’t sure, they always helped me figure out the best option. I will definitely be coming back in the future.
