This trail and beach is what the locals call the Rabbit Hole. Trail is steep but looks maintained. It's dirt, rocks, and roots. There is a rope to hang on to to go down and up for assistance. The beach is rocky, and you are able to find some treasures if you look.

Fine beach. Small but full of goodies if you check the gravel.
There are just beautiful tide pools there, packed full of life on low tide. Take heed of the rope leading down the trail.
Grab some trash on the way out- it never hurts and there is a trash can right as you get back up.

Beach is between the restaurant and an Inn. Find the rope tied to a tree near the Inn, that's the trail. It's there to help you get up and down the trail.

Depoe Bay is one of the best small towns I’ve ever been too. Whale watching, sea lions and just the awe of the Pacific Ocean. With cliffs and the waters crashing against them is just awesome. Plenty of choices for food. Great food. Ice cream. Taffy. Very nice gift shops with prices that are very reasonable. Walked the trails down to the beach. Easy trails and HUGE beaches. Very nice area for a relaxing visit.

Oregon coast Rope Beach, the hike down is steep, rocky, slippery, but the rope helps a bit. Beautiful beach area for agates, shells, rocks and sea treasures. Caves, coves, creatures to explore. Hidden treasure for those brave enough to make the climbs.
