Things we loved. You can feed the fish and turtles at the pond (they provide the food), it was nice having a balcony, if we needed anything in the kitchen the front desk was good to send it over (they are very slow, sometimes it was faster to walk to the front desk and grab what we needed) it was nice having a TV in each room, beds were comfy, lots of storage space in the kitchen, closets in the bedroom were wide and spacious, a washer and dryer near the unit, the main pool and hot tub always had a great temperature. We loved the robes, those were so nice to have. They let you borrow puzzles and games from the clubhouse. Things we would have liked... Ceiling fans in the bedrooms, 5 of us didn't get much rest throughout the week we stayed, the rooms would feel too cold or too hot, it fluctuated through the night, softer towels (the pool towels were great, bathroom towels were a bit rough), newer (firmer) pillows (you could feel the inside of the pillow coming apart), We enjoyed going out on the balcony late at night and in the mornings, the sliding glass door was very hard to slide open, and even harder to shut. Two of the 7 days there was construction going on at the main pool, there was no heads up or explanation. Our first day we ended up leaving the main pool due to a group of people who were drunk and talking about things I didn't want my kids listening to. We went to the other pool, it was freezing cold and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Thankfully we only had that problem one of the days. Overall we had a great week spending time together as a family. As for future vacations I don't think we will come back. I'm not sure I would recommend this place for a family, maybe more for adults wanting to come with friends.

I recently vacationed at this resort and it was one of the best vacations that I’ve been Blessed to take thus far.

The grounds are beautiful, serene and very well maintained. I stayed in a spacious 1 bedroom apartment complete with a balcony as well as a small private balcony in the bedroom. The units are fully equipped with everything you need (coffee maker, pots, pans, etc.)

This resort is a gated community. There are fruit trees throughout the grounds, numerous swimming pools, a tennis court, clubhouse and more.

Shopping center is 10 minutes max from the resort. Downtown Palm Springs is like a 15 minutes max drive and the breathtaking El Paseo Fashion District is about 15 minutes away.

The neighborhood which this resort is in is breathtaking as well. I found the grounds of this resort and the community in which it sits to be safe, so I felt comfortable going out whenever I wanted to.

The workers at this resort are friendly, professional and accommodating. Check in was easy as was check out. I am looking forward to vacationing here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the desert breeze. It has ample large accommodations and very clean. The grounds are very lovely with a large pool, hot tubs for every 4 units and a large pool with fish, turtles and swans.

The resort is located within a gated community at the boundary of the Palm Desert and Indian Wells communities.

There are 10 total buildings associated with the resort. I believe RCI exchange guests generally are assigned one of the first six buildings. Each building has six units, four down and two upstairs. Each building has a jetted spa (except building 1 and 7-10) for the exclusive use of those living in that building, and a free laundry. The units are well maintained as are the grounds.

Our unit was in building 2, a two bedroom located downstairs, on a side wing of the building, with a lovely view of the pond. The unit has a large living room/dining room combination and a spacious kitchen. Both bedrooms are large and the primary has a king bed and a nice ensuite with a shower. The second bedroom has twin beds. The other bathroom has a tub/shower combination. There are flat screen televisions in the living room and both bedrooms. Wireless internet is good and free!

We have been coming here for a number of years and have always enjoyed our stays. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have to note that some of the unit furnishings are getting worn and in need of updates. Even with that said, it is still a great place to stay, relax and sightsee the area.

The family pool is large but was not noisy at all. There is an adult pool located adjacent to the office.

Resort activities are back in place now. They are complementary and include movies, ice cream, wine and cheese and grab and go breakfast snacks.

Being a gated community with minimal traffic, it is a good place to walk or jog on the level roads. There is a larger clubhouse, utilized by the entire complex, which has tennis courts, exercise facilities and a spa.

Although, it's in a great location near shopping and restaurants. Staff is great but the rooms are average and the grounds are well kept desert breeze isn't a place for young families. It doesn't offer much for young people to do other than the pool area. It reminds me of a senior living facility. Desert breeze should be advertised as such, so families don't waste time and money being bored.

I have been visiting this resort yearly for at least 8 years with my parents (my parents are owners). The grounds continue to be nicely maintained. The units need a refresh - fixing peeled paint; replacing dented appliances; etc. That said, we have already booked for next year.

We own a time share at Desert Breezes Resort. We pay $2,200 plus property taxes every year as VIP. We have not been able to use it . Each time we call to reserve, we are told it is BOOKED 13 months in advance.
Why is it listed on Expedia for $202 per night?
Desert Breezes is a SCAM that calls to be reported to the better business bureau and calls for a class action lawsuit.
This SCAM takes advantage of retirees and other people.
We also cannot drop our membership and we are paying every year for NOTHING.
We are in need of lodging due to an upcoming surgery in February 2025 in Pasadena. There is no availability for VIP members but there are studios available to rent on EXPEDIA!!!

Everytime we come down here it's a bait and switch. We ask for a room months ahead of time and always get the sure, no problem, I've got it written down and saved for you. But once we get here the room we asked for is never available. Then we get 3 other rooms to choose from. So we choose 1 of the 3 she was pointing at and had circled. Suddenly the one circled isn't available either and the one available is 2 buildings back far away from the pool. My wife has cancer and can't walk far after radiation. This is Totally not acceptable. This happens EVERY time we come. Always get shoved to the back unless we fight with the desk clerks. It should never be this way.
