I will start off by saying I have spent at least 2000 this year at EARCs three locations. The one off of 15th street is by far the nastiest (however all three stores are dirty and unorganized). I come back because they have good prices, good media selections, and very kind and helpful employees. However, the brown woman with fake blonde hair that runs the Guthrie locations can be described nicely as unpleasant however I can think of many other words that would describe her. I buy and sell items from thrift stores (Just like many others, if not most people in these stores do) The lady (pictured below) (the very large man who works inside refused to tell me her name) who I assume is the manager approached me screaming about me “scanning her merchandise”. I told her what I was doing and that I do it at all three of the EARC locations. This was not good enough for her and she proceeded to demand that I tell her what app/ software I was using and how much money I was making on the items, of course I lied to her because it is none of her business, however this is my first time being asked a question with such hostility by anyone at any store. Very disappointed and while I probably will shop at this store again if you are just interested in cheap items for personal use I would donate and shop at literally any other place besides this one.
If somebody is clearly in your store all the time spending hundreds of dollars regularly maybe you treat them with some respect, learn their name, kindly greet them, not verbally assault them in the middle of your store for absolutely no reason. (Maybe clean that store also so people can actually see the items your trying to sell!)

My first time here and they were doing 50% off on yellow tags. I didn't see a lot that I wanted with yellow tags but I did find a bunch of vintage LP albums for $1 each. Their hard cover books were $1.50 and they had several by John Grisham that I just started collecting. The clothes were a bit on the expensive side so I stayed away from there. All in all, it was a nice thrift store if you set your expectations right. The lady at the counter today was very nice and helpful!

Not only are their prices outrageous for a thrift store, the employees I dealt with today were beyond rude. When I went to check out, my toddler had picked up a toy and I did not see the price so I found it on the bottom and picked it up to show her. She smirked at me and took off the sticker and said “THIS is the price!” I told her to not insinuate that I placed the sticker there and she just shrugged her shoulders. There was a $1 sticker over a $3 mark in sharpie. I didn’t care about the price, it was the way I was treated. I asked her if it was $3 then why was the $1 sticker there and she said she didn’t know but $3 was the price and again smirked at me.

$10 starting price for dresses and shoes? $40 for a shelf? $75 for a used rug? It is crazy! They lost several customers today.

Prices keep climbing and selections are slim. Increasing this stop has become more and more of a waste of time. I’m sorry to say prices have been surpassing goodwills. “10 and up” for a dress… $2 for Barbie dolls with matted hair? When I can get them at Walmart brand new for $5?
This place isn’t a Thrift store anymore. If you want to be a cutesy boutique~ that is a thing. But the stuff isn’t that cute!!! 🤦‍♀️

No more bag days. No color code system for percentages off items to help cycle out old stuff… today they were doing a “buy one get one”… but it wasn’t that helpful as I didn’t find much. I asked them about any discounts they ever have and apart from the “bogo”… discounts seem to be a thing of the past. No more half price days.

I won’t be shopping here anymore ☹️

Prices not too bad. But the place stinks like needs airing out. No cash accepted. Crowded due to stuff. Clothes not clearly marked. No need y to know if on sale. Mentally challenged people try to check you out and are supervised.
