Ordered an Insta360 GPS remote from Evo Gimbals on March 3, 2025, and received it on March 18, 2025. The shipping package and product packaging were undamaged, with plenty of protective foam, yet the remote arrived scuffed with a broken LCD screen.

This was clearly an unrepaired return being sold as new on Amazon. Extremely disappointing! If you’re considering buying from this vendor, exercise caution—they seem to be reselling defective items without proper inspection.

Buyer beware... Extremely bad experience and virtually no customer care. I purchased an Insta360 One X2 camera that was described as "Like New". The package arrived quickly which was a good thing, but the camera was DOA. I tried charging it with different cables, different chargers to no avail. Within 5 hours of receiving it and verifying it was dead, I contacted the seller for a refund. In total I contacted them 5 times. Via Amazon, their own site, email and phone, never received a response, not a single acknowledgement. In the end, I was able to return the item for a full refund of the purchase price, but I am out the return shipping cost. Yes, it is not that much, but I should not have to pay for that since it was a return due to receiving bad product and not me changing my mind.

Bad experience, stay away from these guys.

Sent me a broken insta360oneX2 camera.
These cameras are buggy. Evo didn't know they were sending me a potato. In all fairness, Evo Gimbals is hard to get in contact with, however once you talk to someone, they'll take care of you.

I was able to return my camera hassle free, they even paid for postage..

I think the Plandemic is affecting business in a way where nobody's around to answer the phone...

Other than that, good people, and I'd recommend them if your MORE PATIENT THAN I AM lol

Very impressed with the customer service and speed of delivery from EVO Gimbals! I use a gimbal professionally and a piece broke on it. They had repair parts to me quickly and they replacement parts were better than the originals! EXCELLENT customer service, EVO! Thank you!!

I purchased the EVO GP-PRO Handheld Gimbal for my GoPro - Hero5 back in April because of the good reviews but I felt that I needed to let people know a few facts. The GP-PRO works well in stabilizing the unit but if you have a Hero5 black you will not be able to turn on the unit using the On/Off button that is located on the right-hand side. The reason is that EVO GP-PRO was not designed to fit the Hero5 Black. The right side it not accessible because of the bracket that holds the unit in place once installed on the gimbal. The only way to use the camera is by pushing the RECORD button on top. That is very inconvenient since changes to the setting will require disassembling the unit once again from the gimbal bracket. Installation of the Hero5 on the EVO is not straight forward. Also, they do not have the accessory cable as of yet that allows you to re-charge the GoPro directly from the EVO GP-PRO. The product support team keeps telling me that it is in production. It has been in production for 2 months now. The EVO Gimbal does a great job at stabilizing the camera and I would recommend it if you do not mind some of the issues mentioned above.

UPDATE 07/04/17: I am updating this review to state that EVO has finally sent the cable that fits the Hero5 Black.

Ordered gimbal, with 3 day DHL shipping. Unfortunately your website doesnt indicate that shipping times is an estimate.

Have purchased the gimbal for important filming,now DHL have the package sitting in their warehouse for a good week before it moves from the states.

Mot an ideal experience. Your support techs tell me there is no delays..... lol? 3 days no updates on DHL tracking?

Looking forward to receiving my gimbal If it arrives.....

Gimbal arrived, evogimbal staff dont really care that their website doesnt indicate to consumers that shipping timed are an estimate.

5 stars more like 10 stars!!!! Evo takes care of their customers better than any other company I have seen! They support their local community and also customers out of the state! I got the Evo SS and it's the most craziest Gimbal you will find for Go Pro on the market!. Keep it rocking Evo and shout out to Alana for staying and getting me set up with my Evo SS!!!!
