This is hands down the best place in Fairbanks to attend local tcg events. They always have a large turn out and are moderated by the best team. If i could change one thing though it would be to have more pokemon products. Overall though this is the best card shop in Alaska and the best place to find a local tcg community to join.

Good location, beer and food right nearby

The store owner is a real one, don’t let the neck beards who tend to come here ruin it for you.

They are not a part of the vibe at all as long as you ignore them, at the end of the day it’s a game store meant for kids and family. Don’t be so hard on if the place smells cause of them

Bring a friend to guide you if it’s your first time for sure

Would be a fantastic (no pun intended) game shop if the entire shop didn't smell so unbearably pungent. The level of hygiene in this shop is cause of concern for the health of patrons. Truly eye watering stench. Good selection of paints, cards, models, but definitely a last resort for me.

Comfortable place to sling cards and make friends. A very fun hangout spot that I could get lost in for hours. The open D&D sessions are fun and the community and staff are extremely welcoming. 10/10 would recommend

A lot of selection. Not sure how they price things. Tried to buy some cards and he priced them $100s each and when I got home and looked them up, 1 was 30 and the other low 20s. Please do your research on your cards prior to buying them. Good thing I didn’t get them! He did have a lot of reasonably priced cards (lower end). Just do your research like always.

Their prices are high, and the selection of individual packs of MTG cards were low and limited at best. Both times I'd stopped in to purchase Magic the Gathering cards and was treated as if I was a nuisance and an interruption to their game. Not impressed with this local gaming store. I will continue to give my business to the Comic Shop who deliver time and time again, with both customer service and inventory.

It's a neat little place and the people playing games at the tables are friendly. Hygiene is super lacking and it stinks badly as soon as you walk in the door. If you aren't buddies with the staff expect a long wait. They may not even help you same day as they are usually too busy having conversations with their friends. I was at the counter asking questions, trying to make a purchase, and I was cut off and told to step aside because someone who appeared to know the employee well walked up to the counter.

Came from Los Angeles and happy to find a LGS here in Fairbanks. Place is great, everyone was super nice, happy to walk away with a new Timey Wimey commander deck.
