I found a lot of negative reviews especially regarding the female partner of the buisness Angie... Most of which, over a year old. Well my experience was different. Jim and Angie came to my rescue, when my home was going into foreclosure. Without their tirless diligent efforts, of all the staff, we literally would have lost our home. I disagree with the old feedback and can honestly say that this small community buisness, protects their locals whether it be buyers or sellers. Some of the hardest working people I have ever come into contact with. THANK YOU!

I have been here about six or seven times in the last year and a half. And I will never go back. The owner Angie is one of the rudest people I have ever come across. She definitely doesn't have any kind of people skills. Does not appreciate people coming there to purchase her products. Gives the buyer and other sellers a hard time. You can't even buy a soda from the concession stand without her saying their have to wait rudely. There are other better auction's in our area I will be going to from now on. And believe me you get treated with respect. And they appreciate your business.

Just stopped in for the first time to see what they had. Got followed around the store by the rudest lady I’ve ever came in contact with. Don’t touch anything or she’ll yell at you. Every word that came out of her mouth was rude rude RUDE. Her name must be Angie according to these other reviews. Dark hair. Will not ever return. Would not recommend anyone else goes here either. Still in awe at the entire experience. Have mercy on you if you stop in this store. Good luck.

I would REFUSE to give even 1 star but it would not postif i didn'tgive at least 1. My husband and I and another couple went last night (we have never been there before) during the beginning of the auction the owner Angie went past me and told me to put my foot down( my legs were crossed) then her husband I think his name was Jim told my husband to get his bottle of water off the seat of the chair next to him because it wold leave a stain...really a water stain on cloth? If that wasn't bad enough I went to the ladies room and didn't even have time to get out the stall when Angie can in and told me NOT to use the restroom and told to to get out! She then comes out and announced to everyone that if you can't read the sign in the restroom then you don't need to be there. We all got up and left but not before the wife of couple we were with told them just how rude the owners were. Needless to say we will NEVER go back!

I attended the Christmas auction in December. Once a number was called the number should have been removed from the pot so that other people in attendants had a chance of winning instead of the same person being able to win prices multiple times. The employees nor the owner of the fat goose auction should have never been enter the raffle drawing for prizes as they are employees of the auction house. At the end of the auction when the three big prizes were to be drawn then everybody's numbers excluding the employees who should not have been allowed to enter the drawing everyone's numbers were added back to the pot. This would have made it fair for everyone in attendance being able to have walked away with a door prize instead of multiple people having one four five and six prizes especially the employees. The owner of this auction house is rude and obnoxious I don't even see how this place is still in business

Nasty people the owners are. They care about nothing but getting what they want even if it means broken merchandise sloppily "fixed" and sold under false pretense. The way they speak to the staff and customers is unlike anything I've ever heard in my life. If not for the owners age , I'd have loved to punch him in the mouth. As the other reviews said, its NOT run as a true auction , with fantastical reserves as if in a retail store. The actual good stuff is never for sale and the trash is priced too high. They cater to regular customers only that they know will buy junk. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I think ratings of -stars should be an option!! Worst auction I've ever been too

The worst auction experience I have ever had. The main issue is the unprofessional rude nasty vindictive nature of Angie the owners wife. She doesn’t care what she says and who she says it to. Mean rude ignorant to the core. The second issue is the overpriced junk they sell. Every box lot I ever bought was mostly cracked or chipped. The 3rd issue is that they choose the price they want for the sale items. If you don’t pay what they want then they don’t sell it. This is NOT how an auction is supposed to work. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS JUNK HOLE unless you like getting junk for your money, no possibility of getting a good auction deal and being treated like garbage by the owners

Christmas auction was ran very poorly for prizes. Multiple times the same persons number was drawn. Employees shouldn't have been able to participate in the prizes or raffle. Once a number was drawn it should have been removed from the drawing pot until the last three BIG prizes of the evening then everyones number returned to the pot except employees (no employee should have been able to participate in prize raffle).
