Most of the staff ok but the volunteers are rude petty and judgemental, they let anyone volunteer then defend them when they disrespect customers. One was very racist and had a problem with Me coming every week and would question me about it every week until I complained then she retaliated every week by staring at me and today she suggested that people who already got a box shouldn't get another one because they were running out this is new this didn't used to be the rule and I was already at the beginning of the line and I was told by Colette to get in the line I should not have been denied and the volunteer also made sure she let the person who was signing me in no that there were no boxes for people who already got boxes and some people had already gotten another box who had got boxes before she said that and the volunteer only made the suggestion to get at me she have been staring me up and down the whole time and then she interrupted the staff member who was fighting me and to make sure she heard that there would not be boxes for people who had already gotten one she goosed Collette when I pointed it out and let them know today is my last day coming to get food for me and my disabled two and three year olds I know how to read the room I was targeted every week this volunteer targeted me and she fund a way to stop me from getting a box this week and his Thanksgiving week how many people complain about the same volunteer I've seen it I've seen them yell at her walk away not fair people like me are already in a bad place and we do not need someone like her judging us or taunting us because they are depressed that's the excuse I got from the staff the last time that she's depressed I feel she's trying to depress everyone else. I had a lot of respect for the dream center I no longer do because the staff condones volunteers being racist and pantry shaming people

They mean to do good in the community and I can respect that but they attract the homeless and thieves . People camp out all night ,digging through dumpsters, vehicles are getting broken into it’s terrible especially for those that work for what they have. We pay too much to have this in our neighborhood I understand it’s not the best to begin with but its just a spawn point for trouble.

Super kind folks always offering a helping hand for the local homeless and others in the local community that might just need a lil helping hand. The Florida (aka. Lealman) Dream center is for anyone homeless or even if you own a home or condo whatever I bet there's still more bills then there is funding in our bank accounts am I right well these folks will help u out with snacks on a daily basis hygiene items when in stock and they've got the ol' foot n the door on resources locally that maybe able to lend a financial hand or get the details about the local shelters or community dinners yard sales job offers are posted on the board. I know they had a program to teach forklift driving... UUMM WULD THAT BE CALLED FORK.ED LIKE DRIVERS.ED Is where we learn to drive ssoo I think that I'll be calling that course the forked class at the Dream center so stop and visit with the nice Ladies in the office and see if they still offer a fork.ed course to get your Forklift certification r for some food r help getting your ID r let's say yup wanna move "home" can't afford the bus trip well talk to them they can help or guide you to the right place just do yourself a favor and stop in and say hi sign up to volunteer or for some help either way I hope to see u there stay blessed

Florida Dream Center is a wonderful not for profit program that distributes food items, frozen, dry, canned, and fresh to the less fortunate throughout at different sites throughout Pinellas County. If these clients have a need for household goods or toiletries, they may submit their request in writing and receive the items their designated site. More volunteers are needed, as are donations of food, household supplies, and toiletries. It's a very rewarding experience.

I went there with my neighbor and picked up some food supplies.
I am deeply grateful for the Dream Team.
They came to my rescue as many others amazing food banks.
I was so scared and embarrassed to have to get assistance for food so that I can stay healthy to care for my 23 cats they depend on me.
So the dream team is also part of many different communities support the one I was introduced to they support the community one block at a time they are at Clearview Methodist Church on 38th Ave No.
The dream team is my Hero.

The dream centers haven't sent. And may God bless every single one of the volunteers there. They are so personable they make you feel like you still matter. Going to go above and beyond to help you. They pass out food everyday for the homeless make people able to have proper valid ID per certificates bus cards it's just amazing. I went in there to get a voucher for a new ID next you know I had an outfit five pair of brand new panties scocks and a really soft pullover. Due to unforeseen circumstances I didn't have a coat. And we literally just hit a cold snap everybody had long sleeve and jackets on coats I just had a short sleeve shirt. The lady didn't even ask me she just went back there and found me something to put on my arms. Now is that unconditional love or what. Like I said they are having some they do amazing things for people that have fell by the wayside or are in need. If you do ever go in there and use dream Center make sure you let the volunteers know how special they are and how much you appreciate them because that's all they get paid for what they do 👌
