I've been looking for a place to buy fly fishing bugs for several years. The ones at the big box stores are junk... not any good at all! Pretty much same thing from ones I've ordered online. 😲. Frank was very knowledgeable and helpful.. had a really big assortment of wet and dry flies... Reels and rods as well. Sooo glad to have found this place!

If there were more places like rainbow City auction and fly fishing, and more people like the owner, then a lot more people would be fly fishing. This place is great not only for the selection of rods and reels, but they have some really great furniture pieces as well. Odd pairing, but it works. It almost feels like a museum in some ways. 10/10 would recommend

Great shop! Frank and Tammy are first class folks! Within about four casts Frank had me casting another 20 ft, if you seriously want to improve your casting ability I recommend this nice and neat shop they have pretty much at least one of everything you would need to get out on the water.

Great selection of home furnishings and antiques. The fly fishing shop located there is stocked with all you need for fishing, gearing up, and tying flies. Mr. and Mrs. Roden are the owners and you won't find anyone nicer or more knowledgeable about their merchandise.

Stopped by to look at their fly fishing gear because a friend recommended Rainbow City Auction.

The entire family was very welcoming and showed us all the great stuff they had for sale. Frank came out after a short time and introduced himself, then took a rod and walked my family outside to give us some tips on casting.

It was a great experience and I'd recommend the place to anyone. Thanks everyone for making the trip from Birmingham more special.

Mr. Frank is a very helpful guy and will more than happily give you as much advice as he can. He has a broad range of knowledge on fly fishing as well as the trout stream in the areas. The prices are more than reasonable and he always carries quality items.
