Seemed to have plenty of parking later in the day so that was good. No wait on shower so got right in. I couldn’t get the door to open with my code but the guy let me in. Didn’t get a washcloth either but shower and everything looked clean. Also got the truck washed basically next door. Ladies were super nice as well. Seems like they definitely try here for sure which is great!

I have a few more days to spend in the motel next door but with friends nearby I will highly recommend getting gas here and typical convenience store shopping at this Flying J. Particularly in my case as someone who doesn’t leave home often, it was nice being greeted separately but within the first minute by both employees in different parts of the store, and similarly wished well after checkout and on departure. I used to mystery shop years ago and this place would’ve score far above the available maximum point system as far as cleanliness and appearance but the two ladies working were very patient with me now as someone disabled carrying food and a fountain drink, up to check out. After bagging my purchase I was reminded to pick up a straw and helped some through my impatience with my credit card chip not reading then not scanning quickly. Anyway, I don’t often get opportunities to rave on high quality service, but these ladies at this Flying J at Thousand Palms make this a desirable repeat visit location. Great job!

I came here a few months back.. anyways Amelia and Carmen were some of the kindest employees I’ve met at pilot, and I’ve been to pilots all around the country. Would come back because of service and cleanliness. 11/10

Flying J's Pizza and wings are a hidden gem. Who knew? The staff is always super friendly and greet everyone that enters the store. Amelia managed to efficiently take care of a line of customer while not neglecting to provide them with the best service.

Just stopped here for a bathroom break. The place is small but clean. The staff was courteous and very helpful. I didn't have to wait long to get help. I picked up some wings, pizza, and a chicken parmesan sandwich. The place was neat and the bathrooms were clean. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

I will never step foot in this place again, I have lost faith in every employee that works at this location. Long story short my shower was cut short by a loud aggressive male employee pounding on the door and hollering in the hallway. With no evidence at all he has the audacity to accuse me of being a theft . As I’m standing wet naked and extremely shocked trying to explain that there is obviously a HUGE misunderstanding the commotion attracts 2 more employees who dive right in on lets mentally damage, and verbally humiliate publicly this young lady who is an innocent customer. When I presented the receipt for the shower I did not receive an apology form any employee instead I was told not to come back to this store clearly because all employees employed by Flying J are ignorant judgmental Individuals that abuse the little bit of control given to attack innocent customers as valuable use of their time spent on the clock.
