Staff are rude. I ordered multiple items online, but unfortunately, all their sizes are inconsistent. One shirt, size XL, fits like a small, and another XL fits like a XXL. It's horrible.

When I went in with all these returns, the associate gave me a strange look and asked for my name when I initiated the return. I gave her the receipt and my online account information, but she still asked if I knew the exact date of each transaction. She didn't say thank you or goodbye. So impolite.

It's a shame that this business has so many negative reviews from consumers and they do nothing to fix the issues, and we, as clients, keep buying their products. It shouldn't be that way.

As a business owner and a free person, I would not purchase from this business again. Shame on the name Free People when they don't care about people.

I hope the rude employee at checkout (cashier #324221) heals from whatever is wrong in her life soon and learns how to treat people respectfully ❤️she was mean to to my mother and I and couldn’t figure out how to return my items or exchange for a new one, I do not want to come back or buy anything else. Eden was very kind and helpful in the dressing room.

Oh my god if I could give ZERO stars I would their online customer service sucks!! I ordered shoes from here and I haven’t even had them for a month and the shoe completely fell apart. I contacted customer service 3 times already to get my order reshipped and nothing? These shoes were like $175 dollars!!! And my money is basically robbed from me and all I have is some torn shoes to show for it!! Terrible service

June 26, 2024 - When a customer tried to make a return for items bought online due to disliking the color, and the sales associate body shamed her and assumed the clothes didn't fit her because of her size. Judgemental and rude, it was REALLY upsetting. Do better. Shame on you for hiring such narrow-minded employees.

I tried to order a pair of sneaker from free people online. My order never came as what I ordered. They sent me the wrong size twice and when I called, they said they have to perform a quality check. After two attempts, they still sent me the wrong size with no apology. I have spend my time to drop the shoes to UPS and postal office. Then they send a junk mail says it will grant me 20% off a regular price item, When I inquired about it, the customer supervisor told me, it did not apply to the item. She rudely told me if I wanted my money back, she refunded my order without finding a way to send me the item I ordered. I truly think they don't care about your business and have no intention of having happy customers. I guess the worker pick up the shoes at the warehouse can't figure out the shoe sizes. Do not give any business to this online retailer. It turn out other store sells the same shoe with 15% off.

Really unimpressed by customer service today. There were several employees working and a store full of customers and despite there being nobody in line to check out they didn’t acknowledge a SINGLE person in the store. I went into the store today because I had a return and actually intended to buy some items in store using the credit from the return towards my purchase but when I went to return my item the girl at the register didn’t even ask me how I wanted to be refunded and immediately credited it back to my card… after I asked if I could have the refunded amount put onto a merchandise care so that I could keep shopping she said it wasn’t possible. I’ve worked at FP before and unless their entire POS system has changed, she was being lazy and lied to my face for no other reason than her not wanting to hit an additional button and scan a gift card. Take the time to SERVICE your customers. It was a simple request that literally every retail store can accommodate. I was about to drop some money and decided to take my business elsewhere after the interaction. Oh well! I’ll be buying online moving forward.

The store was kind of tucked away and hard to find. But, the sales person (I forgot her name) was very helpful and friendly with helping me return a bag and place another order (willow tote bag in jade). The bag came and I don't like the color. I will be going back. Hopefully, I have the same experience. I love free people bags!

Horrible online shopping experience. Items were either never sent or stolen from in front of my house. Free people customer service says oh well, not willing to resend the items or refund me the money. Have spent thousands with them. Bad business.
