This was an excellent RV Park. If you stop in here at the RV park make sure to have them print you out a Players Reward Card. They can do it right at the RV check in. Once that is done, book your site for FREE. The place is spotless. Bathrooms and laundry room were great. They give you a hotel type of room key to get into each.
Laundry was $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry. We had to do a second dryer because the first one didn’t dry the clothes all the way.
The only thing I would suggest to the owners is to make it more clear how to walk to the casino. We didn’t want to use the free shuttle because the walk is just a half a mile but it’s a little tricky to find the way. It would be even better if the lit sidewalk that goes all around the campground also went to the casino.
The RV’s in this campground are amazing to look at. Super big and super fancy. Loved it here.

Nice park and quiet. The stay itself was good. Hook ups worked as expected, the site was easy to park in and almost level. We could even fit our 2500 truck and miss the grass if we parked at a diagonal. The staff was very friendly, but for the quality and overall appearance we experienced unexpected issues. Normally I would ignore most of this, but the combination of everything really made these issues seem more significant.

1 - Although beyond their control, we had poor phone reception with Verizon, which was unexpected because we have reception in the casino, and also did not experience coverage issues anywhere else on our 6.5 hr trip except at the RV park.
2 - The park wifi showed ā€œno internetā€ every time we attempted to use it. I had planned to get some work knocked out when we were not at the casino, but the combination of no phone reception and no wifi made it impossible.
3 - As others have mentioned, the landscaping staff really lacks concern for customers property. (To the point that you receive a notice at check-in which essentially says the park is over watered and lawn excessively manicured, deal with it.) They blew wet grass all over our lawn chairs (on the pavement) and did not clear the clippings from the pavement, completely flooded the grass at our site resulting in a soggy pair of shoes and muddy tracks everywhere, and left our black truck covered in dust and wet grass.
4 - Where we really experienced a problem was their inconsistent and quite honestly, outrageous, billing practices. Which I’ve detailed below in an attempt to prevent surprise bank holds for anyone else.

We reserved 2 spots over the phone and were told that a credit card was required to hold the spots, but would not be charged until we arrived. At the time, I confirmed if we could use a different card upon arrival (because the other site was for family who would be joining us over the weekend) and they said yes. Fast forward a few weeks and my card was charged almost double the cost of each site about 2 hours before check-in.

When we arrived, the office was helpful with reversing the charges and stated they would take a few days to process with our bank. And, they couldn’t explain why we were charged so much. (Although, they weren’t surprised we were charged before arrival…) At this point I wasn’t concerned because things happen. But, while we were able to pay with a different card, we were then charged for a second check-in hold (for a different amount than before) for each site. AND, then a 3rd charge for each site at check-out for the actual charges incurred.

Fast forward to today, 5 days after our check-in and our cards currently show a total of 6 holds, each ranging from $145 to $220. Totaling $1145 in pending holds for what was actually a $290 RV park stay… I imagine that the incorrect amounts will drop off, as they are still showing pending, but this could really ruin someone’s plans if they were not prepared for the dollar amount or frequency of the holds. The casino hotels do not even apply a hold this high. Imagine if this was just a stop along someone’s tightly budgeted trip?

It gets a four and here is why! Very nice clean park, shuttle service to casinos, park has nice large premium 80 ft spots with hook ups on both sides great if you are pulling trailer, on Monday morning they started mowing park and edging, ok they have to do it sometime! So when they mowed they pointed the mowers inward towards coach on both sides, I just cleaned my Coach prior to arriving including shining the tires and wheels, do at 8am the grass was wet and it was blown all over my wheels and side of stainless coach, grass was everywhere! At 11:30 am i went to office and complained about the grass they left all over our site, we could not cook on our grill set up our chairs etc because we had no idea when they would come back with the blower! Office did not seem to be to concerned and said they come back and clean up after the entire park is done, they finished at 4pm 8 hours later, the wet grass did not come off the side of my coach, we lost the use of our site for the 8 hours!
MANAGEMENT-SOLUTION: have landscaping company point the mowers away from peoples expensive units! (Common Sense) I would have gave this place a 5 but this really was very aggravating! I did not take pictures of the mess, this was on the 16th of September. So beware of Mondays

Very nice Rv Park the spots are 80’ long with hookups on both sides. Bath house was nice and clean shuttle will pick you up from the Rv Park and bring you to the casino. I believe it ran every half hour. A lot of areas to walk your dog trash cans at every site and dog bags on the walking trail. cannot complain about anything. Also, if you apply for a Windstar players card for the casino, you get your first night free at the RV Park. There is a sonic down the road in several hotels DoorDash will deliver.

This was a great escape location from Dallas for the 4th of July. I was disappointed to learn that the firework display had been canceled. It was why I chose this park. Nevertheless, it was worth the trip. I am not a gambler but I love that they offer a casino shuttle to drop you and return you 24 hours per day. That’s great for folks without a tow vehicle that wants to hit the casino. I had an e-bike only and a ride to the casino was quick and easy. There’s also a Sonic fast food near by for and e-bike ride as well. One night I ordered Cracker Barrel deliver using uber eats and they delivered to the registration office which stays open until 11pm. Just let the office know food is coming and you’re good to go.

Full hook up’s were great with no issues with electric or water pressure. The maintenance crew is always visible and they do an amazing job keeping the grass impeccably manicured. Each site has a fairly level concrete pad with lush green grass and a picnic table. There is a metal mesh picnic table heavyweight near each pad. The pads accommodate small to the large A class. All the streets seem to be a little narrow when trying to back in. But it is doable. If this is your first time to the casino, they will offer you your first night free at the RV park. That was a great perk for me. I work remotely and they offered free Wi-Fi that had a great signal the entire eight hour day that I was online. Oddly my television lost connection a couple of times and did have some latency, but I never had an issue with my laptop applications.

You’re able to put your trash at the end of your concrete pad near the street and they will pick it up each morning. But there are trash can receptacles for each individual site. There is a general store with some snacks merchandise such as T-shirts and sweats and socks and mugs and cups. They sell ice and essential supplies if you’ve run out of something. The prices are pretty reasonable. The pool area was clean and there is a nice laundry and shower standalone building.

If you’re wondering if you can walk to the casino, yes you can BUT on a nice cool day it probably wouldn’t be a big deal. But when it’s 95 and above, it’s going to feel like a very long walk. It is not a short walk for anyone that is older or may have mobility issues. The park is a very quiet park and at times there was absolutely not one person sitting outside the way you would see in most RV resorts or campgrounds. I only saw a handful of people sitting out occasionally. You don’t see the normal big area rugs and chairs pulled out and decor that most people would have in a campground. I didn’t see all the offensive political flags either. It appears that this location is strictly a nice place to park and hook up while you either sleep before taking off again or you’re there for a few days to spend your time and money in the casino or an escape from Dallas. Friendly staff and helpful.

By the way, I do not recommend the Mexican restaurant in the casino. Horrible horrible food. They used fake chili con carne as a topping on the enchiladas. It was allegedly wolf brand chili šŸ˜‰

Nice spot to camp and the bathroom/showrooms are super clean. Staff inside the office are very friendly and greet you with a smile. One of the security guards is kind of a Barney Fife type. I grabbed the wrong key card for the bathroom and instead of just opening it for me he was very condescending "This key? This key?" Thankfully I didnt pee my pants. Funny but NOT funny. Luckily I made it back to the camper to get the right key and back without wet pants. The campground was very clean and well maintained. The security lights are nice also.

Clean, safe and very quiet. We loved our stop so much we stayed an extra night. Kids loved the pool and playground. Husband loved the shuttle to the casino. Thanks for a relaxing couple of nights. We’ll be back!

The nicest casino RV Park I have ever seen. Lots of space, all paved, with concrete slabs. Large units will not have much if any parking space remaining after setting up. Back-in or pull-through sites available at reasonable prices for the amenities. Nice bath houses and a pool available. Easy access off/onto I-35, just a couple miles north of the Texas border.
