I have used Gainesville Coins for years now and never had a problem until now. I sold them some gold I had purchased from them years ago. I used to get payment within days. It's now been 6 weeks and still no payment. I called every week and was told it takes between 3 to 4 weeks to process payment. I called Nate this past week and he told me the check went out the week prior. It doesn't take two weeks for a check to get from FL to NC. I am very disappointed and if I don't get payment next week, I will be filing a complaint with the FL Attorney General.

They sell barely over spot price so I am sure he has to work in volume to make anything so I assume that's the slow shipping. Look, shipping on large orders is going to be slow and probably not 5 to 8 weeks, just understand that going in but for the price you just have to be patient. I read the reviews and knew this but was getting impatient. I can tell you, Nate is not afraid to answer the phone or email and is very responsive. Just understand you will get your product its just going to take time. My order took almost 12 weeks but it was in the middle of the holidays and the hurricanes so that was part of the delay but they arrived and very very well packaged!!!! I WILL order from him again as I have no issues with them.

Just look Gainesville Coins up on BBB.org, then look up BGASC (who I am now using). I have spent a HUGE amount of money purchasing exclusively from Gainesville Coins since 2014. Never, ever, ever again. Gainesville Coins sells stuff they don't even have then you wait MONTHS (& put up with CRAPPY customer service), & I'm still waiting for an order placed in early January. Ordered my March purchase from BGASC & it's already on it's way.

All of the recent bad reviews are warranted. I had the same experience as everyone else. They tell you a time frame for shipping and the time comes and there is no shipping. You will have to threaten them with law enforcement action and they will send it right away.
Obviously they are having money issues and it's only a matter of time before they go belly up.
I guess they are using today's payments for orders that were placed weeks ago. This is like a game of musical chairs. Don't be caught without a chair (your precious metals) when the music stops (they go out of business).

Wait time almost 6 weeks from placing the order. I saw all the bad reviews, I've used them in the past with no problems. So I called asking how long will it be if I order they said 5 weeks maybe a bit longer. I know that's awhile compared to other bullion company's. Although I got my order in exactly the time stated. They were packed very well and in excellent condition. It's a wait but saved some money. This is a long game we are playing in bullion so to me it was worth the wait!

They recently banned my account for absolutely NO REASON! This company should be avoided at ALL COSTS!
