So before I wrote my review I read some of the others. Yes the ladies are all so very nice. I could see that some or one may seem a little flirty. One thing I can tell you Cubans are very upfront about how they feel. Kindness may be seen as flirtation and some are just flirty.
We are not from this area. The last time we visited was around a year and a half ago and we came back. The girls are so sweet and wonderful. Our food tasted absolutely great. They were completely interested in preparing our food correctly. I'm amazed all this is within a gas station/store/restaurant. I was able to eat, purchase a case of water among other beverages.

The blond chubby lady That works by the food station charging people is horrible. She sucks up to her favorite people, and then treats the rest of her non-favorite people like garbage. I currently have a broken hand so I asked the lady if she can give me a piece of the bread that they throw out that they so that i can eat my soup that I bought because it’s kind of hard for me to eat right now with my broken hand. she tells me in her Cuban Spanish that nothing is for free which I understand, but you can simply say it in a nicer way or simply say hey, I need to charge you at least whatever the bread costs. Mind you I go there all the time , But it’s the same thing with her every time I come, she doesn’t say hi to me, but she sucking up to all the other people that she likes And I’ve never done anything to her or ever been disrespectful to her. I go there all the time to put gas, food drinks or whatever because it’s on My route. Probably won’t be going there anymore unless she’s gone because I’m tired of her treating me this way. But it is what it is.

First of all, the manager is a big flirt. If she paid more attention to her surroundings instead of trying so hard to look cute, things may be different. The food is extremely overpriced. They charge you separately for things that are supposed to be served as a pair - like rice with garbanzos con patitas de cerdo. They charge it as three items! Who does that?! If they serve you a dish AFTER you tell them you don't want it, they still make you pay for it just because tjey already served it. Finally, they expect you to tip them, and then throw it in your face if you don't. Terrible place!

There is a good price on the deli and this is a clean eating area. staff are friendly but speak very little English.

The only bad thing is they continue to charge me for topping on my sandwich in the morning. The sign clearly says “your choice of toppings” and doesn’t not give a price for “extra” toppings.

I totally forgot to put gas in my tank but I paid for it. My father was in the hospital and I havent eaten in two days, so I was stressed. I went to see if they could give me my credit back 3 times, one time the manager wasn't there and so I had to come back, second time manager was late, and 3rd time the manager was very disrespectful and throwing her head around. They got the man who worked outside to come inside and translate, she blamed me for about 10 minutes and told me she wasn't going to give me my money back. I used to go here all of the time, and now I don't anymore. The food was good but after this incident I only go to BJs gas down the street, their prices for gas are a lot better.

My solution ended up being I had to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back. And going to BJs gas.

Employees there don't speak any English or understand it not even enough for me to order food or make a purchase.
The area where they make sandwiches etc all employees making & serving food wear no gloves or masks & employees are eating food while serving & making sandwiches for customers.
Did someone forget about COVID.
They put food in there mouths & prepare your food order.
Even without COVID this is not sanitary.
