Very friendly and helpful masks required but they have some at the door inside if you forgot yours they had things lowes or homedepo didn't have. The guys in the back loading the wood are super nice and knowledgeable made sure we didn't get any cracked or messed up lumber highly recommend them over the rest in roseburg

Stopped in this morning to see what they had for hardwoods may Be some purple heart wood. I was in the store for about 30 minutes no one said "hi" or offered to help. I was the only person in the store for most of the time. Everyone was sitting at a desk talking with their co-workers. Decent selection of woods and a great supply on hand. It didn't seem to be over priced, I don't mind paying a little more to buy local. They just didn't seem to interested in selling it.

Mom needed a new deck, I didn't want to deal with the big box yards so I thought I'd pay an Xtra dollar and keep our $ local but guess what.. 2x6, 4x4, fastners and delivery was All Cheaper and faster at Gerretsen. Go here 1st!

This is a building materials store in the heart of Roseburg, Oregon. It has been remodeled in the last two years and looks great! The door and millwork sales people are knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone is friendly and greet you when you come in. Looking forward to my next project!

This was my first visit. It's avery nice store, kind of off the beaten path. Large variety of building supplies. I think a nice alternative to the big box stores. Lots of parking and no lines when I was there. I have no idea of price comparisons. I am not a builder.

The decently priced products come at the expense of the wages of the yard crew. Those men work hard 5 days a week to provide excellent customer service. Yet, Garretsens won't pay even competitive wages to them. Another locally owned company that depends on welfare to keep their employees housed and fed. Another company that follows the status quo and helps to keep Douglas County Oregon from actually thriving.

Most respectful hardware/lumber store had much better selection then home depot or lowes as i called home depot and lowes first I didn't know about them till today and I tell ya what the yard guys were amazingly helpful they cut what I needed as well I will always go here first before I go back to the big box stores thank you for great service
