We had an OK experience, Todd the salesman was easy to work with, Kelli and finance was also very good at her job.
Unfortunately, we live in Miami, and we asked for Saturday pick up, with enough time and deposit to have the unit ready. I’ve bought five other units in the past, and every time I’ve gone they have the unit open, cleaned, and ready for a walk-through.
When we got there, we were informed that Service no longer opens on Saturdays, so the two salesman, Mike and Todd tried their best to help us with the walk-through. But unfortunately, there were things that if Service was open, they could’ve fixed. I had to get home and now spend $300 on cleaning, and sealing the rv. The interior has damage, and all of the caulking is cracked around the unit. Basically it’s a new damaged pop up camper.

4/14 update , I used the camper for the first time and they never installed the awning. When I asked for it to be opened the day we picked it up , they say to watch a YouTube video. 🤦🏻‍♀️ when we open the awning there’s hardware that was never installed so it’s useable until I pay someone to come install it.

Still not a phone call or a check from the dealer to refund having to pay a local repair

UPDATE: September 18, 2024
Our initial excitement of owning this beautiful new RV was extremely short-lived. It has been in the service department half the time we have owned it. This fairy tale turned into a nightmare real quick and there is no end in sight. Heartbroken. Devastated. Those words just begin to describe the feelings we are experiencing. What a huge mistake this was. 🙁

Use this as a cautionary tale before buying ANY new RV from ANYWHERE!

Original Post.... June 2024 We are thrilled with our new Forest River FR3!

Lyle was superb from start to finish. He was attentive and super responsive throughout the entire process. Within minutes of our first visit, he had the unit running and ready to show. He was by far the most knowledgeable salesperson we have encountered in the RV world. The entire staff ensured we were in good hands. Kellie provided a wealth of knowledge and made the clerical process smooth. Ron was extremely helpful, offering a comfortable shopping experience. Beverly was courteous and helpful at every turn. Dave skillfully demonstrated all the features, making the learning curve much easier, and I'm confident Denise will be a valuable asset for our future service needs.

Overall, we were well taken care of. The family atmosphere at Gerzeny's is greatly appreciated and will be remembered for quite some time!

We had a wonderful experience here. They helped get us not only a great deal on our dream camper, but they were very helpful throughout the entire process. They kept all promises, and made sure we were 100% satisfied and educated on the new camper. Kelly was amazing, and helped us close everything out on pick up day, efficiently and she was super friendly. Would highly recommend buying a camper or RV from them!

UPDATE 12/10/24 - see most recent review of this service department. Myself or others could’ve been badly injured due to their negligence.

Rather than thank me for reporting a dangerous situation, my concern was dismissed. Just stay away from this dealer, buyer beware!

UPDATE 9/6/23 - I was contacted by Matt Gerzeny shortly after posting this review. I explained to Matt that the Google Review was my last ditch attempt to get someone's attention at the dealership. Apparently it worked. This was a classic situation of the owner not really knowing what the customer experience was like at the transactional level.

Since this post, the coach has been repaired of all defects and is actually better-than-new. While extremely frustrating to experience that, it gave us a completely different perspective on owning a CLASS A motorhome.

So much so that we approached Matt two months ago with a possible trade deal. We worked with Mike on the deal who made it painless. After a minor negotiation and a gracious trade-in offer, we sealed the deal. We took delivery our 2024 Forest River Sunseeker 3010DS last week.

Class A to C made all the difference for us. We absolutely love it and can tell the difference in quality and ride immediately!

Thank you Matt for making it right and thank you Mike for making it easy. And many thanks to Patty and the guys in service for being awesome!

ORIGINAL POST-
I am coming up on the one year anniversary of the purchase of a 2022 Miramar 34.6. It became apparent after the purchase that the quality control of the units they sell is extremely poor. Our unit has spent almost half of that year, combined, on the service dept lot for repairs of various items. We have had to bring the Coach back multiple times to fix issues that we were told we’re already addressed.

Some repairs were minor inconveniences, while others were significant to the point of making the coach unusable.

We have two open issues of which one is a shower-water leak that has now caused damage.

Our service advisor, Denise, has been difficult to work with and does not return emails or phone calls.

I resorted to calling the general manager and owner who also do not return messages.

We are a local family of four who had aspirations of adventure and we are now stuck with a 165k albatross.

Don’t fall for the “family owned” gimmick, they have demonstrated a complete lack of good faith in standing behind the product they sold us.

Based on our experiences with RV World's service department, we would not buy a motorhome, other rig, or part from these folks (or use their service department). The latest--we have a defective $240 Onan generator fuel pump, which Onan told us to take to the nearest Onan authorized service for replacement. Short of it--on Jan 6, RV World required us to provide much info so they could handle the warranty replacement. After waiting 2 weeks, and not hearing anything, we went back to RV World---they told us they had not heard anything from Onan because the factories were shut down for 3 weeks due to holidays! They then said it was being sent to the RV World warranty department.
Today they told us they could not warranty the pump unless we reinstalled it in on the motorhome and brought the motorhome in so they could diagnosis the issue themselves! We offered to let them diagnosis the pump, but they claimed they could not diagnose the issue without it installed on the motorhome, even though the electrical and fuel aspect of the pump is quite simple. Keep that in mind before you go to buy a part from them--if it's defective, they will require you to install it on your rig and bring your rig in to prove the part is defective. And, it may take them 4 weeks before they tell you that!
