I imagine that during apple harvest season the place would look much better. At this time of the year, as expected, the apple trees are “bold”, which is a natural stage. However, I think that the surroundings and the antiques shop could be better maintained. They need “TLC”. The pies are good and better “a la mode”. The inside and outside tables are nice to sit and enjoy the pie. The owner, Mrs. Nita, is a sweet lady that loves having a pleasant conversation. After all my husband and I enjoyed the trip and will go back in September to see the apple trees. Hope the areas be in better shape.

Gizdich Ranch Pie Shop is a must-visit for pie lovers! I absolutely love their fresh, homemade apple pie, which has the perfect balance of sweetness and a flaky, buttery crust. I also enjoy their Very Berry pies, which are bursting with flavor. The farm setting adds to the charm, and I’ve visited several times without ever being disappointed by the taste. I’ll definitely be back for more!

First time for me and I grew up in this county. I’ve always enjoyed their juice and pies.
I took my friend Ruby (98 in sept) for a belated birthday lunch. The staff was nice, food was good and reasonably priced. Even gave us a sweet little apple and a cookie at no extra cost. We sat outside on the picnic table and really enjoyed the nature and the orchards. 6 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were looking for a place to go apple picking last weekend and after an online search, found 2-3 close to San Jose. Gizdich Ranch seemed to be the most recommended of the ones listed, we also remembered seeing their apple pies and apple juice at grocery stores. We had a very nice experience apple picking and they had a good variety of apples. Prices are good and we had no issues in finding ripe apples to pick. They have a cute store and a separate store that is a deli and sells pies by the slice. Being the weekend, the lines were looooonnnnnggggggg. The pies were excellent and so was the berry ice cream. Plan your trip well and have fun

Sadly, not worth the two hour drive from where we live. This would be a fun place for families with kids.

The lines are extremely long in the wait is even longer. You end up spending more time in the line than actually enjoying the place and then being able to go run other errands. They have young employees that take your order and don't appeared to feel like they want to be there.

Sadly, we're not interested in apple pies, but we came here for other pies. The other pies they make are just average as they have to source the other fruits to make them. It tastes generally good, but then it compares to other mainstream restaurants that serve pies that I will not mention and are closer to us.

The time we went, you do have to fight the flies while you're eating your pies at the tables inside. No air conditioning, so expect the weather to feel as warm as if you were outside when you're inside the building.

Always a good time coming here with my family. We usually get the box lunches and a Dutch apple pie ala mode. I suggest if you’re ordering food to do it first as we have waited a while every time we go but usually we’re in no rush. We’ve tried the apple and Dutch apple pies (ala mode) but we can’t seem to try the others since these are so yummy! Apple slushy is a must.

We’ve done strawberry picking in the summer and it’s always a great experience. This fall they had a little pumpkin area which was fun for my baby/quick photos.

We frequent Gizdich Ranch because it’s just simple (and their apple pies are so good). No air conditioning as well as no heater but at the end of the day, it is a ranch! Pack accordingly and you’ll be just fine :)! Outdoor space is nice for kids. You can even catch Nita Gizdich for a quick chat like we did ❤️.

Thank you Gizdich Ranch 🍎!!

This is an absolutely delightful place to bring your out of town guests to experience a real working fruit and pie ranch. And who doesn’t love pie! I always order several pies for the holiday for friends and they’re delighted to receive. If you give away as gifts you might wish to pre order before Thanksgiving because they will sell out. The frozen pies are a good choice because you can buy and deliver and they can bake for the holidays. Best wishes for the holidays & pick up a wonderful pie or two! Cheers 🥂 🥧

Great place to visit. Cute ranch with specialty items to purchase, antiques, and of course the pies! Those ladies know how to throw down on some pie. They have all kinds of pies from apple, blackberry, two berries, and top it off with some ice cream. Of course it's hot outside 90 degrees so show some love to the baker's.
