My wife and I drive tractor trailer the mountains look like you're in New Mexico and Arizona but it is in Oklahoma! If you are ever on highway 412 and you're in the direction of Gloss mountain you should definitely not miss this , it has nice restrooms and it has a beautiful walking trail leading up to the top ridge of the mountains

Nice place to stop and stretch. To make it to the top of the Mesa, you’ll need to go up a lot of stairs and climb up a rock outcropping. There’s a railing to help climb the rocks but it may be difficult for non-agile people. It was VERY windy atop the Mesa when we went

One of my favorite places to watch the sun rise or set. The mountain is not a difficult climb, steel stairs for the most part, and the view in full sun or around the golden hour is phenomenal.

Not a ton of people at a great park off the normal route. Very pretty and great views. Highly recommended. Has a nice pathway up the mountain with a few places to catch your breath(like my overweight self). Careful at the top of the path. Only the handrail is available. You're climbing up rocks and / or down with just the rail.

Was after an easier hike and avoiding muddy trails and the Gloss Mountains did not disappoint! Beautiful views given the slightly elevated terrain, temps in the 70s, and a nice strong wind. Perfect conditions. Once you ascend the stairs (fairly easy, a short stretch at the top where you really need to watch your step), you can really just wander on or off the trail. The trail is easy to follow. Many places to just sit and chill. I even saw a couple folks trail running.
