I found my dream wedding ring on Pinterest (the land of imaginary hopes and dreams) and contacted Ron Hansen just to see if it was possible to create in real life. Not only did he respond quickly and enthusiastically; he also sent me a 3-D digital draft of the ring so that I could examine every angle before it was even made! Ron checked in with me often along the way to give updates on the ring and I was beyond thrilled when I was finally able to pick it up from the store. My family has used this company for jewelry needs (cleaning, repairs, custom pieces, etc) for many years and we are always satisfied with the service and kindness of those who work here. I'm absolutely over the moon with the custom rings Ron made for me! He made my dream come true of resetting my grandmother's engagement ring. It's so beautiful, and he was able to reuse the metal from the old setting to create the new setting. He also created a beautiful diamond stacking band for me. I was looking for elegant, timeless pieces, and he more than delivered! All of the communication was done from afar as I live in Montana. Ron was so kind in all of our emails and the few phone calls we had. Once the items were finished, it arrived in the mail very quickly.

G&G is that rarest of flowers - a jewelry store with a coffee shop vibe. Most regular folks entering an establishment that deals with money or expensive commodities like real estate are at least slightly intimidated when they first walk in. They feel they have to be on their best behavior; that the value of the goods trade gives the employees a certain status - almost always above theirs. Not so here. My (now) wife and I went to this store after a negative experience in another Ashland jewelry store. We wanted to ask if there was a chance of getting customised wedding rings on a budget. The team couldn't have been more welcoming, and set us immediately at our ease. They took us seriously and respected us as much as if we'd had a budget of thousands of dollars. Now we're married, and we both have daily reminders of the care and love the Gold and Gems team bring to their work. Always grateful, always fans. xxx
