Anna The Manager @ this location is THE BEST!! I just left there and I'm writing this review in parking lot. As of late (as we all know) price hikes are everywhere. Well, today I took a chance and voiced my opinion to Anna in regards to how fishing gear keeps going up and up along with all prices at Goodwill. Today, she leveled with me and explained how pricing works but in a very cool way. Down to earth and professional. She took the time to double check the price on the fishing rod I needed and corrected the price. . . . In this same situation at The Venice Goodwill I had last week. I was treated very rudely, talked down too, and practically thrown out of the store. I think all Goodwill managers should have a meeting and learn how to properly treat a customer with Anna as the teacher. Thank you again Anna!!!!!

Found not one but three cover ups for the pool. Nice store. Well laid out. Plenty of dressing rooms. Clean and orderly. Prices are realistic. I’ll be back again and again.

A good place to buy after-the-holiday decor and supplies—along with that one-of-a-kind item you may never find anywhere else. As with most thrift stores like this. It’s always a treasure hunt.

Great selection of clothing. I was looking for a bedside table found a great one for $35 which I’m sure it would cost over $200 new. I got lucky because they did not have a great furniture selection.

Went today to Nokomis location, trunk load of nice stuff. Employee ( Arnold)was unfriendly, didn’t want to unload- I did most of it. Told me in an unacceptable manner where I have to put stuff 😡. When I told him that I don’t like his attitude- he laughed at me

A great community resource for donating and buying second hand things. This is one of Sarasota's Best Kept Secrets due to the wealthy neighborhood and excellent products donated and never really crowded. I have found some real gems here. Whenever I'm in the neighborhood I always drop by just to see what they have and surprisingly they have some great finds.

When I’m traveling i never know if the goodwill is located in a safe part of town or not. This was a smaller than I’m use to store but in a nice neighborhood. Had an excellent selection and the prices were good and to be expected. There is a “boutique” section that has mostly Chicos and Talbots ect. The staff was very friendly and the store was clean and well organized. I was happy when I saw another customer looking through the brand new rack that was just brought out with stuff to be put away; so I joined in looking and found a gorgeous Frank & Eileen shirt for $6.99. Some goodwills don’t allow that. My only suggestion is PLEASE stop using single use plastic bags. It’s terrible for the environment. They are outlawed in Vermont and we survive just fine without them! The lady was shocked when I asked for no bag and to just carry my items out. Florida has such beautiful beaches, let’s use a little less useless plastic please!!!!
